Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy Recruitment : IIPE has released the official notification for the recruitment of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor and Non-Teaching i.e. Deputy Librarian, Officer IT, Technician, Technical Assistant, Lab Assistant, Secretary to Registrar & Registrar.  Candidates those who are interested can submit their applications through the online mode from 4 to 30 June 2021. More details like application process, age limit, qualification, experience, selection criteria and other details are given below.


The Institute invites applications from the Indian Nationals for the following non-teaching positions, and all the positions carry scales of pay at appropriate levels of VII Central Pay Commission of the Government of India, as applicable to all the IITs.

IIPE Vacancy Details :
1. Deputy Librarian - 01 Post (Age Limite - 50 Years)
Salary : Level-12 : 79,800 – 1,31,700

2. Officer IT - 03 Posts ( Age Limit -40 years)
Salary : Level-11 : 67,700 – 2,08,700

3. Technician - 02 Posts (Age Limit 35 years)
Salary : Level - 3 : 21,700 – 69,100

4.Technical Assistant - 05 Posts (Age Limit 35 years)
Salary : Level – 3 : 21,700 – 69,100

5. Lab Assistant - 05 Posts (Age Limit 35 years)

6. Secretary Registrar - 01 Post (Age Limit 57 years)
Salary : Level 14 of Pay Matrix Rs. 144200-218200/-

Essential Qualification & Experience:
Deputy Librarian : Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/ Documentation Science with at least 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA in a grade point scale in qualifying degree and a consistently good academic record (b) at least 5 years of professional experience as an Assistant Librarian in pay level 10 or equivalent scale in a Library under CFTI/State/ Autonomous or statutory organization/PSU/University or recognized research or educational institution.

Officer IT (Network Engineer) : (a) B.E. / B. Tech /M.Sc. degree in Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology or equivalent or MCA from a recognised University/Institute of repute with at least 60% marks or an equivalent CGPA in a grade point scale, with at least 8 years’ relevant experience in the following areas. OR
(b) ME/M.Tech./M.S. degree in Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology or
equivalent from a recognised University/Institute of repute with at least 60% marks or equivalent
CGPA in a grade point scale, with at least 6 years’ relevant experience in the following areas.

Technician :(a) Bachelor‘s Degree in Science/Engineering or equivalent in appropriate field with at least 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA in a grade point scale in qualifying degree from a recognized
University/ Institute, with at least two years relevant experience in laboratories of teaching/research Institutes/Industries or Organizations. OR
(b) Three years Diploma in Engineering or equivalent in appropriate field (after 10+2) with at least 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA in a grade point scale in qualifying degree from a recognized University/Institute, with at least three years relevant experience in laboratories of
teaching/research Institutes/Industries or Organizations.

Technical Assistant : (a) Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from recognized university with at least 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA in a grade point scale in qualifying degree.
(b) at least two (02) years relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:
Relevant Experience: (i) Experience in activities related to students’ admission, semester registration, examination; or experience in handling establishment matters, recruitment, NPS, insurance, scholarship, LTC, CPDA, dispatch; or experience in procurement activities in any Central Govt. Organisation/ reputed Educational Institute along with working experience on GeM/ CPPP/ e-Wizard and knowledge of GFR/ Public Procurement; 

Lab Assistant : (a) Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in Mechanical or equivalent in appropriate field with at least 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA in a grade point scale in qualifying degree from a recognized University/ Institute, with at least two years relevant experience in laboratories of teaching/research Institutes/Industries or Organizations. OR
(b) Three years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (after 10+2) with at least 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA in a grade point scale in qualifying degree from a recognized University/Institute, with at least three years relevant experience in laboratories of teaching/research Institutes/ Industries or Organizations.

Secretary Registrar : Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from recognized university with at least 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA in a grade point scale in qualifying degree with at least 5 years of experience out of which at least 02 years of relevant experience in personal secretarial profession in a large-scale industry or in a reputed university and / or Professional or Larger Educational Institute with an excellent proficiency in English language, computer knowledge with key depression speed of 40 w.p.m., computer office applications, M.S Word, Excel, Power-point or equivalent. Should be able to handle correspondence independently and would have to coordinate with all departments / Centers/ Sections/ Units and activities of the Institute'.

Faculty Qualification and Experience:
