This Institute is running a 3 years “Diploma in Handloom & Textile Technology (DHTT)” course common to all IIHTs. The subject of “Apparel & Garment Making Technology (AGMT)” will be taught in the final year in addition to the regular subjects.Age Limit & Selection:
Selection is made as per the DCH norms i.e SSC qualification, the age of candidate should be between 15 and 23 years as on July 1st of the particular academic year. For SC/ST candidate age should be between 15 and 25 years, eligibility criteria which are common for all 10 Institutes. A total number of 70 candidates are selected in terms of counselling, basing on the merit of marks every year and allot the seats as per the following quota of the states concerned.SPKM IIHT, Venkatagiri : 47 - Andhra Pradesh

The application for admission into DHTT course can be downloaded and the filled in application may be forwarded to this office along with a State Bank of India (SBI) Demand Draft (DD) of Rs.100/- (Application Cost) drawn in favour of “The Principal, SPKM IIHT, Venkatagiri”, payable at Venkatagiri before the last date i.e. June 20th of every year. The advertisement will be published in leading Newspapers (in the month of May every year)
