ONGC Scholarship 2023:
As part of its CSR commitment, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited grants meritorious SC, ST, OBC, and General (EWS) students an ONGC Scholarship. For a total of 2,000 new scholarships, the ONGC Scholarship online application is currently available for the academic year 2023–2024. Applicants can apply online at the official scholarship website, @ongcscholar.org, by visiting this link. Through the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation's program, the ONGC Scholarship, worthy students from economically underprivileged homes can get financial aid. The ONGC Scholarship 2023 is open to students who are enrolled in their first year of undergraduate or graduate study for the academic year 2023. The General (EWS), OBC, and SC/ST categories get 2000 scholarships annually from the ONGC Foundation. The ONGC Scholarship program pays qualifying student Rs.4,000 per month for a total of Rs.48,000 per year. 500 OBC, 500 General, and 1000 SC students will each get a $500 award; 50% of the Scholarships will go to female students. The merit-based evaluation of the scholarship selection procedure is conducted.

What is the Eligibility Criteria:
1. The applicant must not have been older than thirty as of October 16, 2023.
2. The student's (GEN/OBC) household income should total less than two lakh rupees per year from all sources.
3. Students enrolling in ordinary courses or full-time program, regardless of gender, are eligible for the award.
4. The applicant must have graduated from high school with at least 60% of the possible points.
5. The yearly household income of SC/ST students must equal or be less than Rs 4.5 lakhs.
What is the Selection Process:
1. Students in the following categories are eligible for this scholarship: General, SC, ST, and OBC. However, the overall number of seats varies by category; 1000 spots will be chosen for SC and ST students, while 500 slots will be chosen for general students.
2. Only deserving students studying professional degrees or courses in undergraduate or graduate program in geology, geophysics, or business administration, or B. Tech or MBBS, are eligible for scholarships from ONGC.
3. The whole score from the qualifying exams—which are either in grade 12 for MBBS or engineering studies, or in master's courses like geology, geophysics, or MBA—is the only factor used in the selection process. A minimum of 60%, or a CGPA of 6 out of 10, must be earned each semester.
4. A student's family income is taken into account if their marks are tied to or among other pupils. The students that receive the scholarships are ultimately those whose household income is lower overall each year.
5. Preference will be given to students who fall within BPL category. Other categories will be taken into consideration for the same in the event that such applicants are deficient.
What is the Amount Distributed under ONGC Scholarship:
The ONGC Scholarship is only granted to deserving students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. This offers General, OBC, SC and ST students financial help. Through this scholarship program, students may apply for an annual stipend that will serve as motivation for them. Two thousand new scholarships are rewarded to deserving students each year. The ONGC offers scholarships to chosen students to pursue their further education, valued at around Rs.48,000 per year.

ONGC Log In and Upload ECS Form:
Applicants must first log in using their acknowledgement number and birthdate in order to upload the ECS form. Observe the guidelines listed here to send the form online.
1. Go to https://ongcscholar.org or the ONGC Portal.
2. Select "Have Already Registered" now.
3. Choose Scholarship, then click the View button after entering the acknowledgement number and birthdate.
4. Select Upload Documents from the application dashboard's menu after which you may upload and submit the ECS form.
How to Apply Online:
The ONGC Scholarship program's objective is to provide financial aid to qualified students pursuing degrees in engineering, MBBS, MBA, or master's in geophysics or geology. You should fulfill all the requirements for the scholarship, you will need to go to the Official Website and fill out the Online Application for the ONGC Scholarship. Below is a description of the Online Application process.
Step 1: Go to the ONGC Scholarship Portal, which is available at www.ongcscholar.org, as the first step.
Step 2: Click Apply Scholarship after reaching the webpage.
Step 3: Choose the scholarship according to your degree and category. For instance, click on ONGC Scholarship for GEN Category UG/PG 2023-24 if you are a student in the general category.
Step 4: Carefully review all of the instructions, download the declaration and undertaking form, choose "I agree," and press the "APPLY" button.
Step 5: Fill out the application form by entering your basic details (name, gender, category, mobile number or alternate number, email address, date of birth, name of parent or guardian, occupation, annual family income, etc.) and clicking the Next button.
Step 6: After that, click next after filling out the address as well as its line 1, country, state, city, pin code, etc.
Step 7: Provide qualifying information about the institution, such as the name of the institution, address, state, city, date of admission, name of the board or university, recognized body, name of the course, stream, length of the course, and academic type (semester/annual).
Step 8: Click on Next after entering the class 10/12 passing year, school/college, board name, course type, total marks/CGPA, marks obtained/CGPA, etc.
Step 9: Enter the bank's name, branch name, account holder's name, address, IFSC code, 9-digit branch code, account number, and account type. After downloading the Annexure-B form, select Next.
Step10: Upload the necessary files, which may include your PAN card, admission receipt, photo, cast certificate, income certificate, birth certificate, class 12 or graduation transcript, college ID card, self-undertaking copy, and ECS form.
Step 11: Click the Submit button once you've checked all the information.
