Several Scholarships have been recently established, some of which are exclusively for Indian women studying engineering. The purpose of these scholarships is to encourage and empower women to pursue engineering degrees. The Rolls-Royce Unnati Scholarship 2023-24: 

The Rolls-Royce Unnati Scholarship for Women Engineering Students provides qualified female engineering students with a stipend of Rs.35,000. The Rolls-Royce Unnati Scholarship was created with the intension of enticing more women to study engineering and advance the discipline. Candidates who are interested in applying for this scholarship may discover additional information and the application link on the official website.

Eligibility:

  1. Girl students must be currently studying in the 1st/ 2nd/ 3rd year of engineering degree program at AICTE recognized institutions.
  2. The candidates must have scored more than 60% marks in their Class 10 and 12 board exams.
  3. Annual Family income should not exceed more than Rs.4 lakh per annum.
  4. Open for students from Pan India.

Legrand Empowering Scholarship Program 2023-24:

Legrand Empowering Scholarship Program: The Legrand Empowering Scholarship Programme offers a financial incentive of Rs. 60,000/- for the academic year 2023–2024. The goal of this fellowship is to encourage and assist women working in engineering so they may succeed academically. Candidates can go to the aforementioned website to learn more about this scholarship and submit an application.

Benefits:

  1. Girl students will get 60% of annual course expenses up to INR 60,000 per year (or less) till the conclusion of the degree based on their academic performance.
  2. The special category students will receive 80% of the annual course costs up to INR 1,00,000 per year (or less) till the conclusion of the course based on academic achievement.
  3. At the conclusion of their studies, students from the special category who meet the minimum qualifications for a specific position may also be offered employment prospects.

Eligibility:

  1. Girl students must have got admission in the B.Tech/ B.E/ B.Arch/ BBA/ B.Com/ B.Sc (Maths and Science) degree program recognized institutions.
  2. The candidates must have scored more than 70% marks in their Class 10 and 12 board exams.
  3. Annual Family income should not exceed more than Rs.5 lakh per annum.
  4. Open for students from Pan India.

The Kotak Kanya Scholarship program 2023-24:

The Kotak Kanya Scholarship provides female engineering students with considerable financial assistance of Rs. 1,50,000. The purpose of this scholarship is to empower women by giving them the tools they need to pursue a career in engineering. Benefits:

Each chosen scholar will get a scholarship of Rs. 1.5 lakh every year, up till the end of her professional diploma programme or degree. The Kotak Kanya Scholarship 2023 award money should be used to pay for all necessary academic costs, including as tuition, room & board, internet, travel, a laptop, books, and stationery.

Eligibility:
  1. Open to female students throughout India.
  2. Candidates must have achieved 85% or above on the Class 12 board exam or an equivalent CGPA.
  3. The applicant's family must make no more than Rs. 6 lakh (Rupees Six Lakh) each year.
  4. Meritorious female students who have been accepted into first-year programmes at reputable, NIRF/NAAC accredited institutions for professional academic pursuits like engineering MBBS integrated LLB (5 years) or other professional courses (design, architecture, etc.) in the Academic Year 2023.
  5. Kotak Education Foundation, Buddy4Study, and Kotak Mahindra Group employees' children are not eligible to apply for the Kotak Kanya Scholarship in 2023.
