Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) – a Miniratna-I Defence PSU
under the Ministry of Defence – has released a notification on 17 July 2025 for
212 contract-based positions across engineering and administrative disciplines.
The roles include Trainee Engineer, Trainee Officer, Trainee Diploma Assistant,
and Trainee Assistant, initially for one year and extendable up to four years
based on performance.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Requirements:
- Trainee
Engineer: B.E./B.Tech in relevant engineering fields
- Trainee
Officer – Finance: CA, CMA, MBA (Finance) or equivalent 2-year PG
qualification
- Trainee
Officer – HR/BD: MBA/PG Diploma in HR, IR, Marketing, etc.
- Diploma
Assistants: 3-year Diploma or BCA/B.Sc. in relevant disciplines
- Assistants
– Finance/HR: Grad in Commerce/Human Resources + computer proficiency
Age Limit (as on 10 August 2025):
- General:
Max 28 years
- OBC
(NCL): +3 years
- SC/ST:
+5 years
- PwBD:
+10 to 15 years (depending on category)
- Ex-Servicemen/J&K
