1.టెట్ క్వాలిఫయింగ్ సర్టిఫికెట్ వేలిడిటీని ఏడేళ్ల నుంచి లైఫ్‌టైమ్‌కు పెంచింది కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం.
2.టీచర్ ఎలిజిబిలిటీ టెస్ట్-TET క్వాలిఫై అయితే ఆ సర్టిఫికెట్ వేలిడిటీ ఇప్పటివరకు ఏడేళ్లు మాత్రమే ఉంది. కానీ టెట్ సర్టిఫికెట్ వేలిడిటీని లైఫ్‌టైమ్ చేసింది కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం. అంటే ఒక్కసారి టెట్ క్వాలిఫై అయితే ఆ సర్టిఫికెట్ జీవితాంతం పనిచేస్తుంది.
3.2011 నుంచి టెట్ క్వాలిఫై అయినవారందరీ సర్టిఫికెట్ వేలిడిటీని ఏడేళ్ల నుంచి లైఫ్‌టైమ్‌కు పొడిగించినట్టు ప్రకటించారు.
4. టెట్ క్వాలిఫై అయి ఏడేళ్లు దాటినవారు, టెట్ సర్టిఫికెట్ ల్యాప్స్ అయినవారికి రీవ్యాలిడేట్ చేసి కొత్తగా టెట్ సర్టిఫికెట్లు జారీ చేసేలా రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వాలు, కేంద్ర పాలిత ప్రాంతాలు చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం ఆదేశించింది
5. ప్రభుత్వ స్కూళ్లల్లో ఉపాధ్యాయ పోస్టులు కోరుకునేవారు టీచర్ ఎలిజిబిలిటీ టెస్ట్ వేలిడిటీ-TET క్వాలిఫై కావడం తప్పనిసరి. టెట్ పరీక్షను రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వాలు నిర్వహిస్తాయని, టెట్ సర్టిఫికెట్ వేలిడిటీ ఏడేళ్లు అని నేషనల్ కౌన్సిల్ ఫర్ టీచర్ ఎడ్యుకేషన్-NCTE 2011 ఫిబ్రవరి 11న గైడ్‌లైన్స్ ప్రకటించింది.
6. టెట్ పరీక్షను రాష్ట్రాలతో పాటు కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం కూడా నిర్వహిస్తుంది. కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం నిర్వహించే పరీక్షను సీటెట్ అని పిలుస్తారు. ప్రతీ ఏటా సెంట్రల్ బోర్డ్ ఆఫ్ సెకండరీ ఎడ్యుకేషన్-CBSE సెంట్రల్ టీచర్ ఎలిజిబిలిటీ టెస్ట్-CTET నిర్వహిస్తోంది.

Now TET Certifications Will be Valid for Lifetime

◆The Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' announced that government has decided to extend the validity period of Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) qualifying certificate. Earlier, the validity was for seven years but it will now be valid for a lifetime with retrospective effect from 2011.

◆He also said that the state/UT governments have been asked to take necessary action to revalidate the TET certificates to those candidates whose period of seven years has already relapsed

To become a teacher, the TET is an essential qualification. As per the guidelines, dated February 11, 2011, the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) laid down that TET would be conducted by the state governments and the validity of the certificate was for seven years from the date of passing the exam

National Council for Teacher Education NCTE has changed the Teachers Eligibility Test TET Rules according to the discussions held in its 50th General Body meeting conducted on 29th September 2020. As per present rules, If a candidate pass TET Exam, the certificate valid only for 7 years. After 7 Years the teacher job aspirant have to appear the Teachers eligibility Test again if he requires. But now NCTE has changed the rule. TET Pass Certificate will valid for life time once passed.
