APPOINTMENT & PLACEMENT

Atomic Minerals Directorate for Exploration & Research (AMD) is basically a field oriented organization.The candidates are liable to be posted for field and or laboratory work in any one of the Regions with Headquarters at New Delhi, Bengaluru, Nagpur, Jamshedpur, Shillong, Jaipur and Hyderabad or in its sectional offices located at Visakhapatnam and Thiruvananthapuram or any of the field units located anywhere in India or any other Centre to be established by the Atomic Minerals Directorate for Exploration & Research (AMD) in future or in any of the Constituent Units of the Department of Atomic Energy in India. They should be prepared and must be willing to bear the arduous conditions of field life, which involve living in tents or in improvised field accommodation. They should be physically and mentally strong enough to withstand all the rigors and hazards of field life. 

Educational Qualification:

Pass in SSC/ HSC, Matriculation or equivalent, M.B.B.S, Diploma in Engineering, B Sc., Recognized Trade certificate, Degree of recognized University.

Educational Qualification:

For Scientific Officer (Medical-General Duty):
M.B.B.S with one year relevant experience after obtaining the requisite qualification. Preference will be given to the candidates having institutional experience

For Scientific Assistant (Physics):
B.Sc., with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate from any recognized university/Institution For Scientific Assistant B (Drilling/Survey/Electrical):

Diploma in Engineering with respective disciplines from a recognized institution with minimum 60% marks in aggregate.Respective Disciplines: Mechanical/ Automobile/ Drilling/ Civil/ Survey/ Electrical

For Technician-B:

Min. 60% marks in SSC or HSC with Science and Maths +Recognized Trade certificate (I.T.I/NCVT) in relevant trade of not less than one year duration.Relevant Trade: Drilling/Diesel/Auto Mech/Electrical Preference will be given to candidates having working experience in relevant trade


For Stenographer Grade-III:

Matriculation or equivalent with 50% marks +Minimum speed of 80 wpm in English Shorthand and 30 wpm in English Typing.

For Upper Division Clerk:

Degree of recognized University or equivalent with an aggregate of 50% marks

For Driver (Ordinary Grade):

Pass in 10th Standard Possession of a valid driving license to drive light and heavy vehicles Consolidated experience in driving light and heavy vehicle for at least 3 years Knowledge of the motor mechanism

Technical Officer-C 250/- Scientific Assistant-B 150/- Technician-B (All disciplines) 100/- Stenographer Grade III 100/- Upper Division Clerk 100/- Driver (Ordinary Grade) 100/-
