ORDER:
In the reference 1st read above, the General Administration (Ser.A) Department has requested all the administrative Departments to examine the feasibility of entrusting the task to fill up the direct recruitment posts in respect of Corporations, Public Sector Units, Local bodies etc under their administrative control through the Telangana State Public Service Commission as per the provisions stipulated in Regulation 19(a)&(b) of the Telangana State Public Service Commission Regulations, 2014.
TSPSC to Recruit teacher posts: Taking a major policy decision, the Telangana Government on 18/05/2016 dismissed the District Selection Committee (DSC) to recruit teachers. From now on, all recruitments to fill teachers' posts will be done through the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC). The decision has been taken by T Government for better uniformity, consistency and proper selection procedures. Earlier, these posts were under the control of the Director of School Education, Telangana, Hyderabad, which were being done through the District Selection Committees (DSCs) at the district level.  Based on their feedback, it has been decided to fill up all teacher posts like school assistants, language pandits, secondary grade teachers, physical education teachers through the TSPSC.

TSPSC to Recruit Model Schools Teaching Staff: The T State Government has also decided for direct recruitment of principals, post-graduate teachers (PGTs) and trained graduate teachers (TGTs) in the Model Schools through TSPSC. Earlier these posts were under the control of the Director of School Education and Ex-Officio Project Director, RMSA, Telangana, Hyderabad, which were being done through the State Selection Committee.
