About the Recruiting Organization

Hiring Body: Indian Army.

Number of Posts: 90 (provisional, subject to change). 

Cadet Training Wings (CTWs) will offer training at CME Pune, MCTE Mhow, MCEME Secunderabad, and the Indian Military Academy (IMA) in Dehradun.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

1. Passed the 10+2 examination or its equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized educational board. 
2. The eligibility requirement for determining PCM % will only be based on marks acquired in Class XII. 
3. Must have taken JEE (Mains) 2025. 

Nationality:

1. Indian citizen, or 2. Nepali subject. 
3. An Indian national who has immigrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the purpose of permanently living in India. 
4. Candidates in categories (ii) and (iii) above must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India (save for Gorkha subjects of Nepal). 

Marital Status:

Only unmarried male candidates will be considered. Candidates must agree not to marry until they have completed their full training. 


Salary and Benefits

Stipend: Rs.56,100/- per month (after 3 years of training at IMA, as applicable to NDA cadets). 

Rank upon commissioning: Lieutenant. 

Salary on commission (approx. CTC): Rs.17-18 Lakh per year (Level 10 in the Pay Matrix), excluding free medical coverage and annual travel to homeland. 

Pay scale for Lieutenant: Level 10 (Rs.56,100 - Rs.1,77,500). 

Military Service Pay (MSP): Rs.15,500/- per month (for officers from Lieutenant to Brigadier). 

Allowances include Dearness Allowance, Kit Maintenance Allowance (subsumed into Dress Allowance of ₹25,000/- per year), Risk and Hardship Allowance, Uniform Allowance (subsumed into Dress Allowance), Ration in Kind, Transport Allowance, Children Education Allowance, Hostel Subsidy, and other applicable benefits. 


How to Apply Online?

1. Visit the Indian Army's official website.

2. Click the 'online application' button. 

3. Enter your information into the online application form. Before submitting, please carefully read the terms & conditions. 

4. Candidates can make changes to their data until the online application deadline, but they must'submit' the application each time they alter it. No revisions are permitted after the closing date. 

5. Following a successful submission, a confirmation dialog box will appear. A printout of the application, including a Roll Number, will be available 30 minutes after online applications close. 

6. Print two copies of the application with the system-generated Roll Number. 

7. Bring one self-attested copy of the application to the selection center for the SSB interview, together with the original documents. 

8. The second copy is for the candidate's reference. No tangible copies should be provided to the Directorate General of Recruiting. 

9. Bring 20 copies of self-attested passport-size pictures to the SSB interview. 

10. Only submit one application. Multiple applications from the same candidate will result in cancellation.
