PM Yasasvi Scholarship 2024:

PM Yasasvi Central Sector Scheme of Top Class Education in Schools for OBC, EBC, and DNT Students 2023-24 is a programme sponsored by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India, to students from the OBC, EBC, and DNT categories. The plan seeks to assist deserving children by supporting their education from Class 9 till they reach Class 12. Selected students will get a scholarship of up to Rs. 1,25,000 to cover tuition, housing fees, and other school expenses.

What is the Eligibility Criteria:

1. Belong to the Other Backward Class (OBC), Economically Backward Class (EBC), or Denotified Tribes (DNT) group.
2. be studying in Class 9 to 12 at a certified government/government-aided or private school.
3. Earn less than Rs. 2,50,000 per year as a household.

Benifits of PM YASASVI SCHEME 2024:

Annually, selected students will get scholarships of up to Rs. 75,000 for Class 9 and 10, and Rs. 1,25,000 for Class 11 and 12. This grant will cover tuition, lodging costs, and other school-mandated expenditures.

How to Apply for PM Yasasvi Scheme 2024:

Step 1: Go to the 'Apply Now' page below. 

Step 2: Click the 'Register' button and provide the essential registration information. (Note: If you have already registered, please log in with your Gmail/mobile number/email ID).

Step 3: Go to 'Applicant Corner' and click the 'New Registration' link.

Step 4: Read the details carefully, tick the box, and click the 'Continue' button. 

Step 5: Select the appropriate Aadhaar option, input your cellphone number, captcha code, and OTP, and then submit.  

Step 6: Complete the registration procedure by entering the relevant information and clicking 'Save & Register'. 

Step 7: Select the 'Fresh Application' option and log in with your application ID and password.

Step 8: Fill in the required details, upload the necessary documents and submit the application.


Note: All candidates are recommended to complete the form correctly; no modifications may be made once it has been submitted. Applicants are also urged to submit only one application, since numerous submissions will result in the form being cancelled.

What is the Selection Process:

The student is chosen based on meeting the qualifying criteria and state-specific merit lists compiled from the results of the preceding class's final exam.

Terms and Conditions:

1. 30% of the award is earmarked for female students.

2. The number of spots available under the plan for each state and class will be revealed in April of each year.

3. Students enrolled in schools supported by this plan are ineligible for help from any other government scheme for the same products or purposes covered by this scheme.

4. The selection criteria may change, therefore students should refer to the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment's most recent instructions.

5. A committee will be constituted to review and identify top-performing schools with a constant 100% success record in the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams. The committee will be led by the Ministry's Joint Secretary (BC), with representation from the Department of School Education and NITI Ayog.

6. Payment will be issued in stages, with the last amount due no later than August 15th each year.

7. Selected schools must have an Aadhaar-based attendance system in place, which may be connected with a central portal as needed.

PM YASASVI SCHEME 2023: The NTA has begun the application process for the 2023 scholarship entrance exams. By August 10, 2023, all qualifying applicants are invited to register for the scholarship program on the NTA's website. India's Prime Minister's Scholarship Award Program for Young Achievers YASASVI is a scholarship program for qualifying students established by the Govt. of India's Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. In this post, we will learn about the PM YASASVI Scheme 2023, including its goals, benefits and other important details.

The NTA has begun accepting applications for the Yasasvi Entrance Test 2023 on July 11, 2023, with the application deadline on August 10, 2023. On or before the deadline, interested applicants should go to the official website https://yet.nta.ac.in/. The admission exam will held on Friday, September 29, 2023.


PM Yasasvi's Scheme for September 2023: The online application process began on July 11, 2023. And the deadline is August 10, 2023. The Yasasvi exam date has also been announced as September 29th, 2023. Only Indian students in class 9th and class 11th who are OBC (NCL) as per central list or EBCs or DNTs can apply online for the PM Yasavi entrance test 2023. The exam is based on the previous and current class syllabuses. The National Test Agency will administer the exam using computer-based testing (CBT). Eligibility Criteria:

  1. The candidate must be an Indian citizen with permanent residence.
  2. A applicant must be from one of the following groups: OBC/EBC/DNT SAR/NT/SNT.
  3. In order to appear for the tenth-grade tests in the 2023 session, applicants for the PM YASASVI Scheme 2023 must have completed the eighth grade.
  4. The applicant's parents' annual income should not exceed Rs. 2.5 lakh.
  5. Students wishing to enroll in the ninth grade must have been born between April 1, 2004, and March 31, 2008.
  6. Students wishing to enroll in the eleventh grade must have been born between April 1, 2004 and March 31, 2008.
  7. This program is open to people of all genders.

Benefits of the Scheme:

  1. This scholarship is transparent, and assessments are done in accordance with international standards, which establish the morality of students who qualify for such exams. 
  2. Class nine pupils would receive a scholarship of Rs. 75,000 each year under the plan. In addition, class 11 pupils would receive a stipend of 125,000 rupees each year.
