UPSC CDS II Recruitment 2023:
On May 17, 2023, the Union Public Service Commission published the UPSC CDS-II Recruitment 2023 announcement. A notice has been released to fill 349 positions in the combined defence services. The Union Public Service Commission will shortly hold the Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2023. Candidates who meet the requirements may apply online between May 17 and June 6, 2023. For applicants who want to start their careers in the Indian Air Force, Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, or Officer's Training Academy, UPSC conducts the CDS Exam twice a year. The written test qualifiers will be contacted for an interview session and a medical assessment for the purpose of making a final decision. What is the Age Limit:
Only those applicants who have reached the following age restriction are eligible for the position.
1. Candidates for the IMA and Indian Naval Academy must have been born between 2 January 2000 and 1 July 2005.
2. Air Force Academy: 20 to 24 years old as of July 1, 2024, i.e., born between July 2, 2000, and July 1, 2004.
Education Qualification:
Candidates for the I.M.A. and Officers Training Academy in Chennai should have earned a graduate degree or an equivalent.
Candidates must have earned a B.E. or B.Tech. (Degree in Engineering) or an M.E. or M.Tech.
Candidates for the Air Force Academy should possess any degree (with Physics and Mathematics at the 10+2 level) or a Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology degree.
What is the Application Fee:
Candidates must pay the application fee by depositing cash, using State Bank of India's online banking service, or using a Visa, Mastercard, or Rupay credit or debit card at any SBI branch. Candidates who are female, SC, or ST are not need to pay any fees.
