A recruitment notification has been made public by Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC). To fill Application Training vacancies in the non-engineering department at various TSRTC Regions (Depot/ Unit) around the state, applications are being accepted from qualified individuals. This notification will be used to fill 150 positions. Graduates of BA, BCom, BBA, and BCA programs are encouraged to apply online for the non-engineering department positions.

Educational Qualifications: Interested candidates should possess a degree in BCom/ BSc/ BA/ BBA/ BCA from a recognized university or board

Age Limit : Candidate must be between 21 and 35 years

Training Period : 3 years

Reservation of Training Places:-

a) In respect of each of the states specified in column (2) of the Schedule - IIA training places shall be reserved by ’the employer for the Schedu Ie Cast•s and Scheduled Tribes in every designated trade so that the ratio o f the apprenti ces belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribezs to the total number of apprentices In such ciesignated trade or trades shal I be specified In columns (3) and (4) of the said Schedule (and where there is more than one designated trade in an establishment such training  places shall be reserved also on the basis of total number of apprentices in all designated trades in such establishments). Provided that when the prescribed number of persons  belonging either to the Scheduled Castes or to the Scheduled Tribes are not available, the training places so reservecl for them may be filled by persons belonging to the  Scheduled Tribes or as the case may be, to the Scheduled Caste and if the prescribed training places can not be filled even in the above given manner, then the training places so  lying unfilled may be filled by persons not belonging to them Scheduled Castes or the Scheduled Tribes.

As per the Schedule-IIA (Rule-5) of Apprentice AcL Rules, 199a reservation shall be maintained In the ratio of 1: :16 to Scheduled Caste and 1:: 32 to the Scheduled Tribe.

b) The training places for the Other Backwara Classes in designated trades shall be reserved by the employer accortling to the prescribed norns followed in t he respective State or Union territory and i trplnlng place cannot be filled fron the Other Backward Classes, then th• training places so lying unfilled relay be filled by persons not belonging to the Other- Backward Classes’

As per the Recru.tment Regulations-2004 of TSRTC, Item No:12, 256 reservation shall be maintained for Backward Classes.

2. Number of posts mentioned above are provisional. They may vat upwards or downwards.

3. EDUCATIONAL  OUALIF1CATIONS

a) Candidates possessing qualification of B.E.;/B.Tech in any disciplirt Engineering are eligible.

b) Candidates possessing qualification of Diploma in any discipline Engineering conducted by the Department of Technical Educatiq or its equivalent qualification in the same discipline are eligible

4. Preference will be given to the Graduate/Diploma holders of Automobil e/ Mechanical Engineering.

5. The candidates must not be below 18 years and above 35 years as on 01.07.2022.

6. PHC candidates are not eligible to apply for the above posts.

7. An amount of Rs.18,000/-; Rs.20,000/- & Rs.22,000/- per month for 1st, 2nd & 3rd years respectively will be paid to Graduate (Engineerln g) Apprentices towards Stipend during the Apprentice period.

8. An amount of Rs.16,000/-; Rs.17,500/- & Rs.19,000/- stipend per month for  1st, 2nd & 3rd years respectively will be paid to Technician (Dlplom a) Apprentices towards Stipend durlng the Apprentice period.

9. SELECTION PROCEDURE : On receipt of Candidates list from NATS short listing of candidates will be done based on the CGPA/percentage of marks obtained in the basic prescribed qualification as applicable to the respective disk:iplines. Preference will be given to the Graduate/Diploma holders of Automobile/ Mechanical Engineering candidates. Shortlisted’ candidates shall be intimated through their reglstered email IDs to appear for certificates verification at concerned Regional Offices of TSRTC.

10. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates appearing for certificate verlfication.

11. Selected candidates will have to submit all Original Certiflcates along with NATS registration form.

12. The committee shall take willingness from the each candidate duly offering option of 03 (three) Depots of the concerned Regl?n.

13. Apprentice training period will be for a tòtai period of 03 (THREE) YEARS.

14. The Apprentice candirlate has to enter Into agreement with the concerned Regional Manager on Rs.100/- non-Judiclal stamp paper.

15. The candidate has to work for a minimum period of one year. In case if any apprentice candldates wants to leave the apprenticeship training, in between the one year period, he has to paY an amount of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty five thousand only) to the Corporation.

16. RESERVATION TO LOCAL CANDIDATES:

Reservation to the local candidates is applicable as provided in the Rules and as Amended form time to time in force on the date of notification.

17. The. Corporation reserves the right to cancel the Notification/Engaging process at any stage.

18. All the apprentices undergoing training at Depots/Unfts of TSRTC are issued Apprentice ID Card to travel from place of residence to the depot/unit and vice versa free of cost in city ordinary, sub-urban and District Ordinary services only. These Apprentice ID Cards shall be issued by the concerned Unit Officers duly collecting Rs.10/- from each apprentice.

19. The apprentices shall abide by the rules and regulations of the establishment in all matters of conduct and discipline and safety and carry out alt lawful orders of the .employer and superiors in the establishment. In case of any misbehavior andidates will be discontinued with immediate effect from apprenticeship training.

20. The apprentice tralńees ar0 allowed n’ormaI weekly offs and 12. CLs er annum. If the apprentice trainees do not attend for more than the abae mentloned weekly offs and CLs, then the stfpend’ have to be paid on po- raty. Tńe Apprentlce tralnees have to taki prior written approval from be Uni’: Officer to avail CL, failing which’ the sńme may be treated as absenŁ

21. An apprentice shall be entitle to such leave as may be prescribed and to such holidays as are observed In the establishment in which he/she in undergoing apprentice  training.

22. It shall n.ot be obligatory on the part of ttie employer to offer a‹y employment to the apprentice on completion of period of apprenticeship training in the establlshm•nt nor shall it be obligatory on the part of be apprentice to accept an employment under the employer.

23. Provisions of any law with respect of Labour shall not be’ appłicable..

24. DUTIES OF GRADUATE fENG1NEERING) APPRENTICE - MST

* Shall supervise the work/activities of all the Garage Supervisors and staff.

* Shall ensure attention of the driver complaints regarding maintenance activities.

* Shall deal with reports submitted by the shift supervisors and submit report to the Depot Manager.

* Shall ensure all reports pertaining to the maintenance activities are submit:ted in time to the higher official.

* Shall ensure the proper maintenance of registers pertaining to preventive maintenance of buses,.

* Shall malntain the attendance/musters of all the staff pertaining to their shift.

* ShZill maintain registers” ’on the various maintenance activities carried out in the Garage.

* Shall keep a watch on the. perlodical maintenance activitles to be carried out.and ensure the activity.

* Shall arrange relief of the buses failed enroute during their shift hours in consultation with the garage incharge.

* Shall inspect the vehicles and bring to the notice of the Garage Incharge if the vzehlcle needs ,attention and to be kept off road.

* The candidate has to work In all shifts as per allotment of'’ dutles entrusted by the Unit Ofñcer.

DUTIES OF GRADUATE {ENCINEERING1 APPRENTECE - TST

* Shall malntain the attendance/musters of all Conductors and Drivers.

* Shall arrange spara staP crew in place of sudden absentees and ensrue that all buses leave the Depot on time. Shall ensure that all staff are in Uniform.

* Shall supervise the duties of the Controllers working In the Depot.

* Shall keep a watch of buses due to return to the Depot and, arrange for relief In consultation with Mechanical wing.

* Shall scrutinize STAR documents, Control Charts and ’iden0f/ irregularltles and appraise the same to higher officials.

* Shall study the route wise earnings and suggest to the DepQ Managers or Senior Supervisors, the changes necessary for improvement of services.

* Shall arrange medical aid in case of injuries during the accidents.
