Telangana State Four-year integrated BED Course Admission Notification

Telangana State Council of Higher Education Hyderabad- B.Sc., B.Ed and B.A., B.Ed Four Years Integrated Course- ADMISSIONS Notification 

A four-year integrated BED course incorporated in the National New Education Policy has been made available in the state of Telangana . Until now, BEd could only be studied after completing a degree in the state. From now on, students who have completed the Inter can also enter the secondary education. The National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) has approved the BA-BEd and BSc-BEd courses at the Sridatta Vrindavan Institute of Teacher Education in Narayanapeta and has been affiliated to the University of Palamuru. Seats are filled on the basis of Inter qualification. Each course has 100 seats. The notification for admissions has been issued and one can apply online from the 24th to the 29th of this month. Applications are invited from candidates seeking admission into four years Integrated B.Sc., B.Ed. and B.A., B.Ed courses for the academic year 2021-2022 following G.O. Rt. No. 243 dt 08-12-2021,G.O.Rt. No. 270 dt 13.12.2021, Letter No.51/CE/A2/2021(E387638) dt 22.11.2021 on the dates mentioned as per the schedule given below.

Schedule for B.Sc., B.Ed and B.A., B.Ed Four Years Integrated Course - ADMISSIONS

Candidates are informed that they should abide by the regulation given by the government orders vide Letter No.51/CE/A2/2021 (E387638) and should be prepared to pay the tuition fee as applicable. 

This notification itself is a call for Admission Process to B.Sc., B.Ed and B.A., B.Ed Four Year Integrated Course. No separate call letters are sent to the individual candidates.

 Mere attending of the web counseling does not guarantee a seat. 

All candidates are informed to apply and register online at from 24th December, 2021 to 29th December, 2021 and furnish all information in the online application form. All the entries should be correct and the candidate is solely responsible for any incorrect entry. All the candidates hav to pay non- refundable Processing Fee Rs. 500/- for SC/ST and Rs. 800.00 for others.(Rupees: Five Hundred only) in case of (SC/ST Candidates) towards Registration cum Verification process which has to be paid through online payment (Credit Cards/Debit Cards/Internet Banking) in favour of ‘Secretary, TSCHE’, Masabtank, Hyderabad.

Tuition fee particulars and seats available under Convener Quota in the College will be notified on the websites: before the commencement of Admission process. Tuition Fee and Special Fee as fixed by the Government shall be paid per annum.

The fee reimbursement for eligible candidates is subject to the guidelines issued by the Government from time to time.

What is the Eligibility Criteria?

1. The candidate should be of Indian Nationality.

2. The candidate should belong to the State of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh.

3. The candidate should satisfy the local/non-local status requirements as laid down in the regulations of admission.

4. For admission into B.Sc., B.Ed the candidate should complete Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent in MPC or BiPC Group.

5. For admission into B.A., B.Ed the candidate should complete Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent in MPC or BiPC or CEC or HEC or any other 10+2 qualification Group.

6. However, the candidates belonging to reserved categories viz., SC/ST/BC and other reserved categories should have secured minimum 40% marks in Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent and others 50% marks.

Certificates to be uploaded at the time of Registration and filling application form

1. Memorandum of marks of SSC/10th/ or equivalent.

2. Memorandum of marks of Intermediate/10+2/ or equivalent.

3. Study certificates from 6th class to Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent.

4. Residence certificate for preceding 7 years of the qualifying examination i.e.  Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent in respect of candidates who have private study without any institutionalized education (Distance education/Open school education).

5. Residence certificate from M. R. O of either of parents in Telangana for 10 years in case of local candidates Residence certificate from M. R. O either of parents other than Telangana for 10 years in case of non-local candidates.

6. In respect of Non-Local candidates in order to consider them unreserved seats the following certificates needs to be submitted.

a. Residence Certificate: Candidates who has resided in the State for a total period of 10 years excluding periods of study outside the State; or either of whose parents have resided in the State for a total period of 10 years excluding periods of employment outside the State. (OR)

b. Employer Certificate: Candidates who are children of parents who are in the employment of this State or Central Government, Public Sector Corporations, Local bodies, Universities and other similar Quasi Public Institutions within the State at the time of applying for TS Ed.CET- B.Sc.,B.Ed and B.A.,B.Ed. Four Year Integrated Course.

7. Transfer Certificate.

8. Latest Integrated community certificate issued by the competent authority in case of BC/SC/ST category candidates, if applicable.

9. Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) Reservation (applicable only to OC candidates):

*As per the Guidelines issued in G.O.Ms.No.244, General Administration (SER.D) Department, Government of Telangana, dated. 24.08.2021, the 10% Reservation to the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) in respect of Admissions into Educational Institutions shall be implemented. Candidates should produce EWS Certificate issued by MRO/ Tahsildar valid for the year 2021-22 (i.e. issued after 01.01.2021).

10. Latest Parental Income Certificate issued by M.R.O., Telangana Govt. after 01.01.2021.

Note: * Any false or incorrect information furnished in the online application and subsequently detected at any stage of the admission process will render the admission of the candidate null and void.

* The Convener reserves the right to cancel the admission of the candidates at any stage if / when it is detected that admission is against the rules.

Procedure for Admission into B.Sc., B.Ed and B.A., B.Ed Four Years Integrated Course:

1. After successful online certificate verification and scrutiny of the application, the verified list of Registered & eligible candidates will be displayed on the notified date on the website.

2. In case of any discrepancies in the candidates verified data kindly report the same to the helpline center or mail through email service available on the website. Any claim after the allotment of seats will not be entertained.

3. Admission will be finalized as per the Merit in Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent.

4. The final selected list will be made available on the website.

 Certificate verification and counseling:

1. The preliminary certificate verification will be done based on scanned copies of original documents uploaded and as per norms.

2. In case of any doubt, enquiry will be done over phone to establish the veracity and correctness of documents.

3. List of Provisionally selected candidates will be prepared Course wise and placed on the website i.e. and SMS will be sent to the valid mobile number furnished in the application.

4. Tuition fee has to be paid through challan at the designated bank. The candidates who secured seat (provisional allotment) in the counseling can download the fee payment challan and joining report from the website.

5. Final allotment of seat for admission is subject to satisfactory verification of all original certificates at college and producing fee paid challan.

6. Candidates must report to the college and produce all original certificates within the stipulated time.

7. Allotment order will be issued by the principal/verification officer at the allotted college only after successful verification of all original certificates. The joining report must be signed and submitted at the college along with original T.C.

8. Candidates must submit two sets of attested copies of all certificates at the respective college, one set is meant for submission to the office of the Convener.

9. If the candidate cancels his/her admission, tuition fee will be forfeited as mentioned below:

• After first phase, full tuition fee will be refunded.

• 50% of the amount after final phase and before cutoff date notified for cancellation in allotment order and 100% thereafter.

Rules of Reservation for admission.

Admissions will be made as per rule of reservations in vogue at the time of Counseling.

1. 75% of the sanctioned intake of seats in unaided (affiliated) will be filled by the Convener TS Ed.CET-2021-Admissions (B.Sc.,B.Ed and B.A.,B.Ed four Year Integrated Course)

2. In the affiliated Colleges of Telangana State, admission to 85% of the convener quota of seats shall be reserved for the local candidates of Telangana State and the remaining 15% shall be Un-reserved seats.

3. The candidate shall satisfy Local / Nonlocal status as per GO.No.646 Edn. (W1) department dated 10-07-1979 and Presidential order. The Nonlocal candidates are eligible for 15% unreserved seats only. The local candidates are also eligible for 15% unreserved seats along with 85% seats reserved for local area.

4. The candidates belonging to EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) who are not covered under the scheme of reservation for SCs, STs and BCs shall get 10% reservation in educational institutions in the State of Telangana.

5. The principal is directed to fill up the management quota of seats in their college by issuing a separate notification in the leading daily Newspapers and following TSCHE guidelines. Candidates should be admitted as per admission rules in vogue. The details of the seats filled under “Management Quota” shall be communicated to the “Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE)” for necessary approval and ratification.
