AFCAT 2022 Recruitment Notification for 258 Vacancies: AFCAT 2022 online application process is being conducted from 1st to 30th December 2022. Indian Air Force (IAF) will conduct AFCAT 2022 Exam for the recruitment of 258 vacancies under Group-A Gazetted Officers in Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches. 

IAF has invited the applications from eligible candidates including Indian citizens both Men & Women for the courses commencing in January 2023 for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Flying Branch and Permanent Commission (PC) and Short Service Commission (SSC) in Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches. Online applications have also been invited for grant of PC/SSC for NCC Special Entry Scheme (For Flying Branch). Important Details:
Age: 20 to 24 years for Fly Branch candidates and 20 to 26 years for Ground Duty Technical and Non-Technical candidates by January 1, 2023.

Application fee: Rs. 250/- 

Application mode : Online

Salary : Rs 56,100 to Rs 1,77,500.

Selection Procedure: Written Test, Medical Test, Group discussion, Interview.

Educational Qualifications:  Candidates must pass 12th class. Must pass this exam in Mathematics and Physics subjects. Marks should be at least 50% in both the subjects. Must have passed BE or B.Tech with 60% marks from a recognized University.

Flying Branch: Aspirants must have qualified 10+2 with 60% in Maths and Physics and graduated in any discipline BE/BTech/Cleared section A and B exam of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India with 60%.

Ground Duty (Technical) Branch:
Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics) (AE (L)): Aspirants must have completed 10+2 with 60% in Physics and Mathematics and a minimum of four years degree graduation/integrated post-graduation in Engineering/Technology from a recognised university. Or, Cleared sections A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India or Graduate membership examination of the institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers by actual studies with 60% in the following disciplines:

Ground Duty (Non-Technical) Branches:

Administration & Logistics
Accounts: Graduation in Commerce with 60%
LLB qualified and integrated/dual degree candidates may get an opportunity to be employed on the legal duties of the IAF (after commissioning)
Candidates studying in final year/semester can also apply, however, they must not have any backlog and should have secured 60%.
