AICTE: Good news - AICTE affiliated universities provide B.Tech and B.E degrees to working professionals
Good news.. All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) has given a sweet word to those who want to study B.Tech while working. It provides an opportunity for professionals working in industries to join B.Tech. Admissions in Bachelor of Technology and Bachelor of Engineering courses will start from this year. Each branch has 30 seats. One can complete B.Tech by working in regular mode in colleges allowed by AICTE.
According to authorities, technical schools accredited with the All India Council for Technical Education can now offer Bachelor of Technology and Bachelor of Engineering degrees to working professionals. The regulator has requested applications from these colleges to begin offering courses this academic year.
The move was made to enable working professionals continue their education and students who cannot pay the fees for higher technical education but want to get a degree while working, according to authorities.
AICTE would approve a maximum of three programmes per institute, with a maximum intake of 30 seats each, according to AICTE member secretary Rajive Kumar. "A minimum of ten working professionals will be required to run the course in an academic year," he explained. "The core disciplines with specialisation in upcoming technologies will be given preference."
These will not be part-time courses, but will be available on a regular basis. They will be built with various schedules and modalities for the convenience of students and institutions. This is a professional development course for those who are already in the workforce.
Technical schools will be able to choose whether to hold lessons online or in person, as well as set their own calendars and timetables.

AICTE Scholarships 2021 under Pragati Scheme and Sakham Scheme: Under Paragati Scholarship Scheme AICTE is providing scholarships to Girl students and under Saksham Scholarship Scheme AICTE is providing scholarships to Differently abled Students .
Online applications from the eligible students is being invited by All India Council for Technical Education for providing scholarships for 2021-2022. Through online mode eligible students may apply at scholarships.gov.in web portal.

AICTE Pragati, Saksham Scholarship Schemes: The last date to apply has been extended by All India Council for Technical Education for its Pragati and Saksham scholarship schemes till November 30.
Pragati Scholarship:
Scholarship for AICTE Pragati 2021: All India Council for Technical Education is implementing AICTE Pragati Scholarship Scheme aimed at providing assistance for Advancement of Girls pursuing Technical Education.
Education is one of the most important means of empowering women with the knowledge, skill and self-confidence necessary to participate fully in the development process.
This is an attempt to give opportunity for the young Women to further her education and prepare to lead a successful future by “Empowering Women through Technical Education”
Saksham Scholarship:
Scholarship for AICTE Saksham 2021: All India Council for Technical Education is implementing AICTE Saksham Scheme is a MHRD Scheme which is being implemented by of aimed at providing encouragement and support to specially abled children to pursue Technical Education.
AICTE means All India Council for Technical Education, is an apex body of Government of India. The Statutory body is established for proper planning and coordinated development of Technical Education system throughout the country. It is strongly linked with quality education and It believes that “Educating a man is educating a person, educating a woman is educating a family”.
Under PRAGATH scheme, for girls, AICTE has announced a scholarship and Differently abled students under SAKSHAM scheme and giving special encouragement to students. From eligible students AICTE invites applications for Two Scholarship Schemes to Girls under PRAGATI and under SAKSHAM for Differently abled Students
A total of 10000 scholarships is being provided by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development i.e. 5000 for Diploma and 5000 for the degree courses under this scheme. It is aimed to empower women by providing them with technical educational assistance. To empower women through technical education, students need to go through the below-mentioned procedure in order to be eligible for the scholarship.
Selection criteria: On the basis of merit of the qualifying examination the selection of the applicant will be made to pursue their technical degree or diploma course from any of the AICTE approved institution.

Eligibility:
1. Two girls per family.
2. Family income should be less than Rs. 8 lakhs per annum.
3. Admitted to AICTE approved institution’s programs/courses of the Diploma.
4. Only students admitted in the first year of the current academic year.
5. How to apply: Candidates can apply online by filling the registration forms at the web link of Scholarship for Girls (PRAGATI) under AICTE Scheme on scholarships.gov.in web portal.
For Saksham Scholarships:
1. Number of Scholarships available per annum: No limit/restriction.
2. Amount of Scholarship: Rs. 50,000.
Eligibility:
1. Differently-abled students.
2. Family income should be less than Rs. 8 lakhs per annum.
3. Admitted to AICTE approved institution’s programs/courses of the Diploma and Undergraduate Degree Level and Undergraduate Degree Level.
Only students admitted in the first year of the current academic year.
How to apply for AICTE Scholarship 2021:
Under AICTE Scheme candidates can apply online by filling the registration form at web link of Scholarship for Differently-abled students (SAKSHAM) on scholarships.gov.in web portal.
Process to apply for AICTE Scholarship 2021:
For girl students AICTE is providing scholarship schemes and differently-abled students who are pursuing a technical degree and technical diploma courses.
1. First visit the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) and click on the given scholarship link.
2. Now, read the scholarship guidelines carefully, next select the undertaking and ‘Continue’.
3. Next select the state of domicile, scholarship category, scheme type (scholarship scheme), gender, and fill the details required.
4. You have to provide the details of the bank including the name of the bank, IFSC and account number.
5. Now Select Aadhaar or Bank Account Number as identification detail and click on the ‘Register’ button.
6. Now your mobile number will be verified and an OTP will be sent to your mobile.
7. Now log in again by using the OTP and fill the form of AICTE scholarship.
8. An application ID and password will be generated.
9. Now you can apply from here.
