APSRTC Employee Retirement Age Will Be Increased After Merger With Govt
The Andhra Pradesh government has agreed to ‘enhance the retirement age of Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation employees from 58 to 60 years pending formal merger of the establishment of employees with the State government’, according to a Government Order. issued by Principal Secretary (Transport, Roads and Buildings) M.T. Krishna Babu here on Monday.The long-pending demand of APSRTC employees for enhancement of retirement age 58 to 60 years was fulfilled after the State government issued a GO in this regard on Monday.
The committee had submitted its report to the State government on September 3, making various recommendations, including raising the retirement age of APSRTC employees to 60 years on a par with the State government employees.

ఏపీ ఆర్టీసీ ఉద్యోగులకు ప్రభుత్వం మరో గుడ్ న్యూస్ చెప్పింది. పదవీ విరమణ వయస్సును 58 సంవత్సరాల నుండి 60 సంవత్సరాలకు పెంచుతూ కీలక నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగుల తరహాలోనే ఆర్టీసీ ఉద్యోగులకు సైతం పదవీ వివరణ వయస్సును 60 సంవత్సరాలకు పెంచుతున్నట్లు ఏపీ సర్కార్ ఉత్తర్వులను జారీ చేసింది. ఇప్పటికే ఏపీలోని ఆర్టీసీ ఉద్యోగులను ప్రభుత్వంలో విలీనం చేసేందుకు సీఎం జగన్ మోహన్ రెడ్డి గ్రీన్ సిగ్నల్ ఇచ్చిన విషయం తెలిసిందే. ఈ ప్రక్రియలో భాగంగా ప్రభుత్వం ఆంజనేయరెడ్డి నేతృత్వంలో ఓ కమిటీ వేసింది. ఆ కమిటీ సిఫార్సుల మేరకు ప్రభుత్వం ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నట్టు తెలుస్తోంది. ఏపీ సర్కార్ తీసుకున్న ఈ నిర్ణయంతో పదవీ విరమణ చేయాల్సిన ఉద్యోగులు, కార్మికులు మరో రెండేళ్ల పాటు తమ సర్వీసులను కొనసాగించనున్నారు. ప్రభుత్వం తీసుకున్న ఈ నిర్ణయం కారణంగా దాదాపు 53,000 మంది ఉద్యోగులు, కార్మికులకు లబ్ధి చేకూరుతుందని సమాచారం. ఏపీ సర్కార్ తీసుకున్న ఈ నిర్ణయంపై కార్మిక సంఘాలు, ఎంప్లాయిస్ యూనియన్లు సంతోషం వ్యక్తం చేశాయి.
