UPSC NDA & NA II Recruitment 2023:
A notification for the 2023 Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) and National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination (II) has been released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Candidates that meet the requirements for the following position and are interested in applying online can read the notification.
The NDA Exam is administered twice year to determine qualified applicants for admission to the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the NDA and the Indian Naval Academy Courses (INAC). The 113th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) and the 151st Course will both have NDA Exams this coming year. Written exams and SSB interviews will be used to choose the qualified men and women. On May 17, 2023, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) published the UPSC NDA 2 Notification 2023 pdf for the course starting on July 2, 2024. Along with the notice, all pertinent information has been made public, including registration deadlines, eligibility requirements, application fees, and other data.
On May 17, 2023, the UPSC published the NDA 2 Notification 2023 pdf for NDA II Exam, announcing 395 openings for boys and girls to be hired for the fiscal year 2023 at the Naval Academy and National Defence Academy. For entry into the Indian Defence Forces' Army, Navy, and Air Force wings, UPSC administers the NDA test. To become an officer in the Indian Army, Navy, or Air Force, you must pass this test. The UPSC has already announced the NDA test Date 2023 and the UPSC Calendar 2023 for the NDA 2 2023 test. According to the notice pdf, the UPSC NDA-II 2023 Offline Written Examination would be held on September 3, 2023 (Sunday). What is the Application Fee:
A general category applicant must pay a fee of Rs. 100.
The charge may be paid in cash at any SBI branch, online using the bank's net banking service, or by calling a Visa, MasterCard, or Rupay credit or debit card customer service centre.
Candidates from the SC, ST, Sons of JCOs, NCOs, and OR groups are not required to pay the application fee.
What is the Age Limit:
A minimum of no sooner than January 1, 2005
earliest: no later than January 1, 2008
NDA Education Qualifications:
Candidates for the Army Wing of the National Defence Academy should have completed their High School Diploma (HSC) or an equivalent test from a State Education Board or a University.
For the National Defence Academy's Air Force and Naval Wings as well as the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy: The applicant must have graduated from a state education board or an accredited university with a grade in Physics and Mathematics comparable to the 12th grade or above.
NOTE: Candidates taking the 10+2 School Education or an equivalent test in place of the 12th grade are also qualified to take the UPSC NDA exam.
NDA Physical Standards:
The candidates must meet the physical requirements for the Naval Academy and National Defence Academy. They must be able to meet the following requirements:
Running: 2.4 km in 15 minutes (a)
b) skipping
(c) Pushups and sit-ups: 20 at least for each.
(d) Chin-ups: At least 8
(e)3.4 metres for climbing a rope.
What is the Selection Process:
The Union Public Service Commission holds the UPSC NDA 1 examination procedure to give young people in the nation the chance to pursue careers in the defence industry. The NDA 1 Exam 2023 will be used to select candidates for defence employment in two phases:
written assessment
Test of Intelligence and Personality (SSB)
After passing a written test, a candidate will be invited to take a personality test to gauge both IQ and personality. For their names to appear on the merit list, applicants must pass both phases. The cumulative score from the Written Exam will be used by UPSC to create the merit list/final result, and the SSB will be taken into account for final selection.
NDA 2023 Exam Pattern:
Candidates who are studying for the NDA I Exam in 2023 should be conversant with the UPSC exam format. Below, we've covered the specifics about the NDA-1 Exam Pattern 2023:
1. An offline mode will be used to administer the test.
2. Multiple Choice Questions will be used for the questions.
3. The questions will be given in both Hindi and English.
4. There will be a 0.83 point deduction for maths, 1.33 for english, and 1.33 for general knowledge.

The applicants would need to be well-prepared for the two disciplines, Mathematics & General Ability Test. Candidates are recommended to start their preparation for the NDA Exam along with the entire curriculum and not to miss any topics. The General Ability Test will include questions from English (worth 200 points) and General Knowledge (worth 400 points).
How to Apply Online:
Candidates must submit their applications online through the website upsconline.nic.in. The candidate must first register on the One Time Registration (OTR) platform, which is accessible on the Commission's website, before filling out the online application for the exam. OTR just has to register once throughout their lifetime. You may do this at any time of the year. If a candidate is already registered, they may fill out the online application for the exam right away.

రాత పరీక్ష (ఆబ్జెక్టివ్ తరహా), ఇంటెలిజెన్స్ - పర్సనాలిటీ టెస్ట్ల్లో చూపిన ప్రతిభ ఆధారంగా అభ్యర్థులను ఎంపిక చేస్తారు. 900 మార్కులకు ప్రశ్నపత్రం ఉంటుంది. ఇందులో రెండు పేపర్లు ఉంటాయి. ఒక్కో పేపర్ వ్యవధి రెండున్నర గంటలు. పేపర్-1లో 300 మార్కులకు మ్యాథ్స్ నుంచి, పేపర్-2లో 600 మార్కులకు జనరల్ ఎబిలిటీ విభాగం నుంచి ప్రశ్నలు ఉంటాయి. ఇందులో ఇంగ్లిష్కు 200, జనరల్ నాలెడ్జ్కి 400 మార్కులు కేటాయించారు. ప్రశ్నలన్నీ ఇంటర్ సిలబస్ నుంచే వస్తాయి. రుణాత్మక మార్కులు ఉన్నాయి. రాత పరీక్షలో అర్హత పొందిన వారికి సర్వీస్ సెలక్షన్ బోర్డ్ (ఎస్ఎస్బీ) ఆధ్వర్యంలో యూపీఎస్సీ ఇంటెలిజెన్స్ అండ్ పర్సనాలిటీ టెస్టులు నిర్వహిస్తుంది. ఈ విభాగానికి 900 మార్కులు కేటాయించారు. ఇందులో భాగంగా గ్రూప్ టెస్టులు, గ్రూప్ డిస్కషన్, గ్రూప్ ప్లానింగ్, అవుట్డోర్ గ్రూప్ టాస్క్లు ఉంటాయి. స్టేజ్-1లో అర్హత సాధించినవారినే స్టేజ్-2కి అనుమతిస్తారు. రాత పరీక్ష, సర్వీస్ సెలక్షన్ బోర్డు నిర్వహించిన పరీక్షల్లో వచ్చిన మొత్తం మార్కుల ఆధారంగా తుది ఎంపిక జరుగుతుంది. వైద్య పరీక్షలు, అభ్యర్థి ప్రాధాన్యాలను పరిగణనలోకి తీసుకుని మెరిట్ ఆధారంగా సంబంధిత విభాగాలకు ఎంపిక చేస్తారు.
అన్నీ ఉచితం
అన్ని దశలూ దాటి కోర్సులో చేరినవారు మూడేళ్లపాటు పుణేలోని నేషనల్ డిఫెన్స్ అకాడమీలో బీఏ, బీఎస్సీ కోర్సులు చదువుతారు.
నేవల్ అకాడమీకి ఎంపికైనవారు నాలుగేళ్లపాటు కేరళలోని ఎజిమాలలో బీటెక్ విద్యను అభ్యసిస్తారు.
రెండు చోట్లా విద్యార్థులకు అన్ని సౌకర్యాలను ఉచితంగా సమకూరుస్తారు.
విజయవంతంగా కోర్సు పూర్తిచేసుకున్నవారికి జేఎన్యూ, న్యూదిల్లీ డిగ్రీలను ప్రదానం చేస్తుంది.
ఆర్మీని ఎంచుకున్నవారు బీఎస్సీ/ బీఎస్సీ (కంప్యూటర్)/ బీఏ కోర్సులు; నేవీ, నావెల్ అకాడమీ (10+2 క్యాడెట్ ఎంట్రీ ) అభ్యర్థులు బీటెక్ విద్య అభ్యసిస్తారు. ఎయిర్ ఫోర్స్కు ఎంపికైనవారు బీటెక్ లేదా బీఎస్సీ కోర్సులను ఎంచుకోవచ్చు. ఎన్డీఏలో మూడేళ్ల శిక్షణ, చదువు అనంతరం ఆర్మీ క్యాడెట్లను డెహ్రాడూన్లోని ఇండియన్ మిలిటరీ అకాడమీకి; నేవల్ క్యాడెట్లను ఎజిమాలలోని ఇండియన్ నేవల్ అకాడమీకి; ఎయిర్ఫోర్స్ క్యాడెట్లను హైదరాబాద్లోని ఇండియన్ ఎయిర్ఫోర్స్ అకాడమీకి శిక్షణ కోసం పంపుతారు. అభ్యర్థి ఎంపికైన విభాగాన్ని బట్టి ఈ శిక్షణ ఏడాది నుంచి 18 నెలల వరకు ఉంటుంది. ఈ సమయంలో స్టైపెండ్ రూ.56,100 (మూల వేతనం) చెల్లిస్తారు. శిక్షణ అనంతరం ఉద్యోగంలోకి తీసుకుంటారు. విధుల్లో చేరినవారు మొదటి నెల నుంచే సుమారు రూ.లక్ష వేతనంగా పొందవచ్చు. వివిధ ప్రోత్సాహకాలు లభిస్తాయి. తక్కువ వ్యవధిలోనే పదోన్నతులు అందుకోవచ్చు.
అర్హతలు
ఆర్మీ వింగ్ (ఎన్డీఏ)కు ఏదైనా గ్రూప్తో ఇంటర్ ఉత్తీర్ణులై ఉండాలి. ఎయిర్ ఫోర్స్, నేవల్ వింగ్స్ (ఎన్డీఏ), 10+2 క్యాడెట్ ఎంట్రీ స్కీమ్ (ఇండియన్ నేవల్ అకాడమీ)కు దరఖాస్తు చేయాలనుకుంటే ఫిజిక్స్, మ్యాథ్స్ సబ్జెక్టులతో ఇంటర్ ఉత్తీర్ణులై ఉండాలి. రెండో సంవత్సరం కోర్సులు చదువుతున్నవాళ్లూ దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవచ్చు. బాలురు మాత్రమే అర్హులు.
వయసు: 02.07.2002 తర్వాత; 01.07.2005 కంటే ముందు జన్మించినవారు అర్హులు.
శారీరక ప్రమాణాలు: అభ్యర్థుల కనీస ఎత్తు 157 సెం.మీ. ఉండాలి. ఎయిర్ఫోర్స్కు 162.5సెం.మీ. ఉండాలి. ఎత్తుకు తగిన బరువు అవసరం.
ఆన్లైన్ దరఖాస్తులు: సెప్టెంబరు 3 సాయంత్రం 6 వరకు స్వీకరిస్తారు.
