All the students (Boys) in Telangana who are appearing for SSC April, 2023 Public
Examinations from Govt. Welfare Residential Schools, Model Schools, Ashram Schools, Govt. Schools, Zilla Parishad Schools, Aided Schools and other Govt. Recognized schools are eligible for admission into 1st year Intermediate (MPC) with CBSE syllabus.
All the students (Boys) in Telangana who are appearing for 5th class in April, 2023
Examinations from Govt. Welfare Residential Schools, Model Schools, Ashram Schools, Govt. Schools, Zilla Parishad Schools, Aided Schools and other Govt. Recognized schools are eligible for admission into 6th class with CBSE syllabus.
The Entrance Test will be in objective type. Only the meritorious students from the entrance
test are permitted to attend Physical Screening Test at 1:3 ratio. After Physical Screening Test, the selected students will get admission into 6th class (CBSE) / 1st year Intermediate (MPC) (CBSE syllabus) with integrated coaching & training for NDA / SSB along with all benefits which are extended by TS Gurukulam, such as free boarding, lodging, uniform, note books & text books,bedding material and examination fee etc.
1) They should also pass 5th class / SSC in 1st attempt in April / March-2023.
2) Students studying in Telugu / English Medium are eligible to appear for the Entrance Test
and the question paper will be in English only.
3) Parental Income for the year 2023-24 financial year should not exceed Rupees Two Lakh
per annum for urban and 1.5 lakh for rural or as per the Government guidelines at the time
of admissions.
4) Selected candidates have to produce necessary certificates like, Caste, Income, Aadhaar
Card, Marks Memo, Study Certificate, T.C., Medical Fitness Certificate (from not less than
Assistant Civil Surgeon), (06) Individual passport size photos and four photos of parents /
guardians at the time of admission.
5) The Entrance Test for 1st year Intermediate (MPC) will consist of Multiple Choice
Questions for 100 marks. English (20 marks), Mathematics (40 marks), Physics (20 marks),
Chemistry (15 marks) and Biological Science (5 marks). Each question carries one mark.
For wrong answers one fourth marks would be deducted.
6) The question paper will be prepared from the basics of VIII to X classes (state syllabus)
(English and given optional subjects).
7) The Entrance Test for 6th class will consist of Multiple Choice Questions for 100 marks.
Telugu (20), English (30 marks), Mathematics (30 marks), Science (10 marks) and Social
Studies (10 marks). Each question carries one mark. For wrong answers one fourth
marks would be deducted.
8) The question paper will be prepared from the basics of 5th class (state syllabus) (Telugu,
English, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies).
The vacancies for filling up 80 seats in 6th class and Intermediate 1st year (MPC) are as follows.

Age Limit, Sex and Marital Status:
For 1st year Intermediate (MPC):
Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 1st April, 2006 and not later than 31st March,2008 as on 31st March 2023 are eligible.
For 6th Class:
Only boys born not earlier than 1stApril, 2011 and not later than 31st March, 2013 as on 31st March 2023 are eligible.
The date of birth accepted by the Society is that which is entered in the Matriculation or
Secondary School Leaving Certificate. These certificates are required to be submitted only after the declaration of the result of the written part of the examination. No other document relating to age like horoscopes, affidavits, birth extracts from Municipal Corporation, service records and the like will be accepted. The expression Matriculation/ Secondary School Examination Certificate in this part of the instruction includes the alternative certificates mentioned above.
NOTE 1: Candidates should note that only the date of birth as recorded in 5th class record
sheet (or) Matriculation/ Secondary School Examination Certificate available or an equivalent certificate on the date of submission of applications will be accepted.
NOTE 2: Candidates should also note that once date of birth has been claimed by them and
entered in the records for the purpose of admission to an Examination, no change will be
allowed subsequently or at any subsequent examination on any ground whatsoever.
Submission of Application Form through ONLINE:
1. The applicant should submit his application through ONLINE visiting website
www.tgtwgurukulam.telangana.gov.in
2. Registration fee for submission of application through ONLINE is Rs.200/-
(Rupees two hundred only)
3. Before filling the application through online the candidates are advised to read the
information uploaded in the website www.tgtwgurukulam.telangana.gov.in
4. Less than 100 kb pass port size photo and less than 50 kb signature of the student has
to be uploaded.
5. The Candidates are advised to download the Hall-tickets from 13th April 2023 from
the Gurukulam website. The same has to be certified by the Principal / Head Master,
where the candidate is studying.
6. Candidates are advised to get Aadhaar details updated as latest Aadhaar Card is to be
produced for physical tests.

ఆరోతరగతి రాత పరీక్ష మొత్తం 100 మల్టిపుల్ ఛాయిస్ ప్రశ్నలకు నిర్వహిస్తారు. తెలుగు 20 మార్కులు, ఇంగ్లిష్ 30 మార్కులు, మ్యాథ్స్ 30 మార్కులు, సైన్స్ 10 మార్కులు, సోషల్ స్టడీస్ 10 మార్కులకు ప్రశ్నలు అడుగుతారు.
ఇంటర్ రాత పరీక్ష విధానం..
8-10వ తరగతి స్థాయిలో 100 మల్టిపుల్ ఛాయిస్ ప్రశ్నలకు పరీక్ష ఉంటుంది. ఇంగ్లిష్ 20 మార్కులు, మ్యాథ్స్ 40 మార్కులు, ఫిజిక్స్ 20 మార్కులు, కెమిస్ట్రీ 15 మార్కులు, బయాలజీ 5 మార్కులకు ప్రశ్నలు అడుగుతారు.

II. Eligibility:

All the ST students (Boys &
Girls) of Telangana who are appearing for SSC March – 2020 in TW Residential
Schools, Ashram Schools, Govt. Schools, Zilla Parishad Schools and other Govt.
Recognized schools are eligible to appear and they should have secured at least
B2 grade(7 points) in aggregate and also secure B2 grade in English in SSC
Public Examination 2020.

Students studying in Telugu /
English Medium are eligible to appear for the Entrance Test.

Parental Income should not
exceed Rupees Two Lakh per annum for urban and 1.5 lakh for rural or as per the
Government guidelines by the time of admissions.

Selected candidates have to

III. Reservation:
1.
100% seats are reserved for STs
of Telangana state only.
2. 3% of overall seats will be reserved to the Physically Handicapped
children who can attend their work without anybody’s help based on the
certificate issued by the Medical Board.
IV. Submission of Application Form: Through ONLINE:
1.
The applicant can submit his /
her application ONLINE by logging into www.tgtwgurukulam.telangana.gov.in.
There is no registration fee for submission of application through ONLINE.
2. Before filling the application through online the candidates have to
read the information already uploaded in the website www.tgtwgurukulam.telangana.gov.in.
3. Please upload the 100 kb pass port size photo and 50 kb signature of
the student.
4. The Candidates are advised that to collect the Hall-tickets
immediately after submitting the online application. The same has to be
certified by the Principal / Head Master of the
institution, where the candidate is studying.
No postal correspondence will
be entertained.
The candidates are advised to download the Hall Ticket from 01-04-2021 to 09-04-2021 for appearing entrance test scheduled on 11-04-2021. The candidate should fill the bonafide certificate (provided at the bottom of the Hall ticket) and get it signed by the Headmaster/Principal concerned where he/she is studying 10th class and handed over it to the Invigilator at the time of entrance test.
V. Admission Test:
1. The Screening test will be conducted at two levels, 1st Screening
test will be objective type and 2nd Screening test will be descriptive type
with the following subjects for MPC and BiPC groups separately.

2. Only the meritorious students from the 1st screening test will be permitted to attend 2nd level screening test.
3.
The list of eligible candidates
for 2nd screening test can be obtained / seen from the website of Gurukulam.
4.
1st level screening test Hall
ticket number is the same for 2nd
level screening test. Separate Hall ticket will not be
issued for II level screening test. The candidates appearing for I level
screening test are directed to preserve their Hall tickets for II level
screening test. They need to produce
their hall ticket, if they qualify for
II level screening test.
5.
The test will be based on the
knowledge of subjects from class VIII to SSC in English /
Mathematics/Biology/Physical Science. The entrance test question paper will be
in bilingual (i.e., in English and Telugu Media).
6.
Applicants can select any
language as their medium for writing the Test.
VI. Final Selection of Students :
1. Selection of students for IIT Study Centre, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad
shall be made on the basis of State Common Merit for Boys only.
2. Selection of students to SOE & COEs will be filled with the
left-over seats (after filling with the passed out 10th class students
from SOE, Khammam) only through the entrance
test.
3.
Selections will be made on the
merit basis subject to fulfillment of ‘Eligibility’.
