HDFC Bank Parivartan's Educational Crisis Support Scholarship Program is an initiative of HDFC Bank that aims to support the children who are academically deserving to continue their education but are financially struggling. The scholarship program is meant for school students from Class 1-12 to those pursuing UG, PG and diploma courses. Under this scholarship, the students will be provided with a one-time financial assistance ranging from INR 15,000 to INR 75,000.

Eligibility:

  1. Open for Indian nationals only.
  2. The students must be currently studying in Class 1 to 12.
  3. Annual family income must be less than or equal to INR 2,50,000 from all sources.
  4. Children of employees of HDFC Bank and Buddy4Study are not eligible. 

Benefits:

  1. For students of Class 1 to 5 – INR 15,000 
  2. For students of Class 6 to 8 – INR 18,000
  3. For students of Class 9 to 12 – INR 21,000

NOTE: Scholarship fund can be utilized only for academic expense purposes which includes tuition fees, hostel fees, food, internet, online learning device, books, stationery, etc.

Documents:

  1. Passport size photograph
  2. Previous year's marksheets (2022-23)
  3. Identity proof (Aadhaar Card/Voter ID/Driving License)
  4. Current year admission proof (Fee Receipt/Admission Letter/Institution ID Card/Bonafide Certificate) (2023-24)
  5. Applicant Bank Passbook/Cancelled Cheque (Information will also be captured in the application form)
  6. Income Proof (any of the three proofs given below)Income Proof issued by Gram Panchayat/Ward
  7. Counsellor/Sarpanch
  8. Income Proof issued by SDM/DM/CO/Tehsildar
  9. Affidavit
  10. Proof of family/personal crisis (if applicable)

How can you apply?

  3. If not registered on Buddy4Study - Register at Buddy4Study with your Email/Mobile/Facebook/Gmail account. 
  4. You will now be redirected to the HDFC Bank Parivartan's Educational Crisis Support Scholarship application form page.
  5. Click on the ‘Start Application’ button to begin the application process.
  6. Fill in the required details in the online scholarship application form.
  7. Upload the required documents.
  8. Accept the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and click on ‘Preview’. 
  9. If all the details filled in by the applicant are correctly showing on the preview screen, click on the ‘Submit’ button to complete the application process.

  1. Go to the official website to view the results.
  2. Search for the HDFC scholarship 2023 choice right now.
  3. You will instantly be sent to a new window or tab.
  4. Now, pay close attention to the 'Check Result tab'; it will be located in front of your scholarship programme.
  5. You may see the list of chosen applicants on this page.

Benefits:

  1. For Diploma courses – INR 20,000
  2. For Undergraduate (General – BCom, BSc, BA, BCA, etc.) courses – INR 30,000
  3. For Postgraduate (MCom, MA, etc.) courses – INR 35,000
  4. For undergraduate (Professional – BTech, MBBS, LLB, BArch, Nursing) courses – INR 50,000
  5. For Postgraduate (MTech, MBA) courses – INR 55,000 to INR 75,000
