కరోనా కారణంగా ఉద్యోగాలు కోల్పోయిన ఈఎస్‌ఐ చందాదారులకు నిరుద్యోగ భృతి లభిస్తుంది. వారికి జీతంలో 50 శాతం సొమ్మును భృతిగా చెల్లిస్తారు. అటల్‌ బీమిత్‌ కల్యాణ్‌ యోజన కింద ఈ సహాయం లభిస్తుందని గురువారం కేంద్ర కార్మిక శాఖ ప్రకటించింది. ఉద్యోగాలు కోల్పోయిన కార్మికులు సమీపంలోని ఈఎస్‌ఐ కార్యాలయంలో సంప్రదించవచ్చు. స్వయంగాగానీ, ఆన్‌లైన్‌ద్వారాగానీ, పోస్టులోగానీ ఇందుకు సంబంధించిన దరఖాస్తు పంపించవచ్చు. దరఖాస్తుతో ఆధార్‌ కాపీ, బ్యాంకు వివరాలు, అఫిడవిట్‌ను సమర్పించాల్సి ఉంది. జులై ఒకటో తేదీ నుంచి అమల్లోకి వచ్చిన ఈ పథకం వచ్చే ఏడాది జూన్‌ 30 వరకు కొనసాగుతుంది. కేంద్ర కార్మిక మంత్రి సంతోష్‌ కుమార్‌ గాంగ్వార్‌ అధ్యక్షతన జరిగిన కార్మిక రాజ్య బీమా సంస్థ (ఈఎస్‌ఐసీ) సమావేశంలో ఈ మేరకు నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారు. గతంలో వేతనంలో 25 శాతం నిరుద్యోగ భృతి కింద లభించగా, దాన్ని ప్రస్తుతం 50 శాతానికి పెంచడం గమనార్హం. నిబంధనలను కూడా సరళీకరించారు. ఇంతకుముందు సంస్థ యజమాని ద్వారా మాత్రమే దరఖాస్తులు పంపించాల్సి ఉండగా, ఇప్పుడు స్వయంగా కార్మికులే సమర్పించుకునే వీలు కలిగించారు. ఈ సొమ్ము నేరుగా కార్మికుల బ్యాంకు ఖాతాలోనే పడుతుంది

- It is necessary for an insured person to be unemployed to apply under this scheme.
- The contribution in respect of him should have been paid or payable by the employer.Aadhar and Bank Account of the Insured Person should be linked with insured person data base.
- The Applicant should have contributed not less than 78 days during each of the preceding four contribution periods.
- The Insured Person should have been in insurable employment for a minimum period of two years.
- The contingency of unemployment should not have been as a result of any punishment for misconduct or superannuation or voluntary retirement.
