The Andhra Pradesh Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies will publish the list of provisionally chosen applicants for attending the AP IIIT admission counselling as scheduled along with the AP RGUKT Call Letter 2023 on its UG Admission web page admission.rgukt.ac.in.
On its official website, rgukt.in, RGUKT Andhra Pradesh has made the AP IIIT Call Letter 2023 available. The IIIT AP Call Letter 2023 for RGUKT admissions counselling is available for download by candidates.
In order to attend the regular AP RGUKT Admission counselling or the AP IIIT Admission counselling as part of Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge and Technology (RGUKT) admissions, the Higher Education Council has sent the AP IIIT Admission Call letter 2023 to all RGUKT qualifying applicants.

The six-year integrated B.Tech programme, which is provided at all of RGUKT AP's IIIT (Indian Institute of Information Technology) campuses throughout Andhra Pradesh, is considered as the institution's flagship programme.AP India's state of Andhra Pradesh is home to the RGUKT (Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies). AP RGUKT IIIT Admission 2023
With the AP RGUKT IIIT Admission 2023, students who have finished the tenth grade can enrol in a six-year integrated B.Tech programme. This initiative aims to give Andhra Pradesh's rural and poor pupils access to high-quality education. The curriculum is split into two parts, with the first two years devoted to a foundation course and the latter four years to specialised computer science and engineering courses. The application procedure for the AP IIIT is rigorous and extremely demanding. Only pupils who pass the Class 10 board examinations and satisfy the qualifying requirements are chosen for the programme based on their GPA from their tenth grade.
What is AP IIIT Admission?
The Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies' (RGUKT) Integrated B.Tech programme admissions procedure is called AP IIIT Admission 2023. The six-year integrated programme is available in Andhra Pradesh, India, on four separate campuses. The four campuses are situated in Srikakulam, Ongole, Nuzvid, and Idupulapaya.

The AP RGUKT Integrated B.Tech programme is a special programme created to give students a top-notch education in engineering and technology. AP RGUKT IIIT Admission Eligibility Criteria
The following requirements must be satisfied by students in order to be admitted to the AP RGUKT IIIT in 2023:
- The candidate must have passed the SSC (10th grade) or a test considered to be an equivalent by the Andhra Pradesh government.
- The candidate must have attended school in Andhra Pradesh for at least four years in a row, or one of their parents must have attended school there for at least four years in a row.
- The candidate's SSC (10th class) or other similar test must have yielded a minimum of 70% of the total possible points, as recognised by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
- The applicant should not have turned 18 as of December 31 of the admissions year
IIIT Admission AP Selection Process
IIIT Admission AP will be based on merit in the Grade Point Average (GPA) and Grade earned in each subject in the 10th grade, as well as by adhering to the State's statutory reservations.
When applying to non-residential government schools like the ZP, Municipal, KV, AP Model Schools, and KGBV Schools, a deprivation score of 0.4 will be added to the applicant's GPA from the 10th grade with the goal of giving weight to help the students from socially and economically disadvantaged sections of the society get admitted.
a) In case of a tie in GPA score
In case of a tie in GPA score, it will be resolved by adopting the following options in that sequence:
Higher grade in Mathematics,
Higher grade in General Science, iii. Higher grade in English,
Higher grade in Social Studies,
Higher grade in 1st Language,
The older candidate as per the Date of Birth,
The lowest random number obtained from the hall ticket number.
If the tie is resolved with any of the check-in the chronological order mentioned above, the next option(s) will not be checked
b) The procedure of resolving by random number is as follows:
The procedure of resolving by random number is as follows: For SSC, NIOS & OSSC applicants. The random number will be obtained as the reminder of {253 x [first 5 digits of the hall ticket number] divided by the last 5 digits of the hall ticket number}
For example, from the hall ticket no.1219121028, the first five digits viz., 12191 and the last five digits viz., 21028 will be considered for this purpose. The reminder is 14235. For CBSE & ICSE applicants. The Hall ticket consists seven digits. Hence, the random number will be obtained as the reminder of {253 x [first 3 digits of the hall ticket number] divided by the last 4 digits of the hall ticket number}.
For example, from the hall ticket no.4112605, the first three digits viz., 411 and the last four digits viz., 2605 will be considered for this purpose. The reminder is 2388.
c) Seating Allotted to AP Students
Andhra Pradesh's Ongole and Srikakulam campuses will admit students in accordance with 371; however, only 85% of seats
are designated for AP students, leaving 15% accessible to students from other states who might choose to be admitted based
on merit lists.
d) No RGUKT CET for this year 2023
Previous year, RGUKT CET (RGUKT Common Entrance Test) was conducted for this IIIT admission stream. Now this year no entrance examination will not be conducted for this year. Only students will be selected through merit in 10th class or 10th Class GPA.

How to Submit the AP IIIT Admission Application Form for 2023?

Documents needed for admission to IIIT
Only online submissions should be made through www.rgukt.in for AP applications. The following details need to be prepared to fill out during online submission:
- Class 10 hall ticket number
- Date of birth Caste certificate for applicants who are SC, ST, or BC
- For pupils who claim to be eligible for this type of reservation, an Aadhar Number CAP PH, NCC, sports, etc.
- Income verification for scholarship-claiming students
- EWS certificate holders claiming this category's reservations
- White Ration Card/Rice Card 4th to 10th Class Residence Certificate for Those Claiming Local Category Study Certificate
Instructions to Candidate:
The Convener, RGUKT reserves the right to reject the application of the candidate at any stage, if:
- The Online Application Form is incomplete.
- The candidate fails to satisfy the eligibility criteria.
- Any false or incorrect information is furnished.
- The Online Application Form is submitted after the due date.
- The Convener is not responsible for non-receipt of application by the notified date and time for any reason.
- The Convener, RGUKT is not responsible for any false information submitted by the candidate
IIIT AP Admission Reservation
IIIT AP Admission to 85% of total available seats shall be reserved to the concerned local University, where the Institute is located and the remaining 15% of the seats shall be un-reserved and are open to all applicants of both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, as specified in the Presidential Order 371 Article D in consonance to Section 95 of the A.P. Reorganization Act, 2014. (See Annexure-1).
The rules of reservation for different categories are as under in both local and unreserved categories, subject to any changes and amendments made by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
SC – 15%, ST – 6%, BC-A – 7%, BC-B – 10%, BC-C – 1%, BC-D – 7%, BC-E – 4%
Physically Handicapped (PH) – 3%, Children of Armed Personnel (CAP) – 2%, NCC -1% and Sports – 0.5%.
A horizontal reservation of 33 1/3 % of seats in favor of women candidates in each category (OC/SC/ST/BC/Special Categories) shall be ensured, wherever women candidates are available.
In case of PH candidates, certificates issued by the State Medical Board alone are acceptable.
For Sports and CAP categories, certificates issued by the respective District Boards are acceptable. These reservations are applicable at state-level.

Steps for submitting Online Application
Step 1: Registration
The candidate wishing to apply for admission in RGUKT, should register with the above link. On registration process, unique RGUKT Application Number will be generated for each candidate. After successful registration, the candidate proceeds to complete the Online Admission fee payment with the RGUKT Application Number Only.
Step 2: Admission Fee Payment
(Only after Registration)
After Completion of the registration the Candidate complete the Admission fee payment by feeding the RGUKT Application number. The candidate can complete the application fee payment with any online payment gateway or in cash at AP online centers for which the center will issue a receipt. Application fee is Rs. 300/-.It is Rs.200/-for SC and ST candidates.
Step 3: Submit the Online Application Form
After payment of admission fee, the candidate can complete application form with the login credentials (RGUKT Application Number and Date of Birth). If any candidate applies more than once, information in the latest application will be considered for the selection process.After filling up the application form, please re-check all the details, more importantly the following fields 1. SSC Hallticket Number, 2. SSC Board, 3. Date of Birth, 4. Gender, 5. Reservation Category, 6. Communication details, 7. Local Status (SVU/AU/Non-Local), 8. SSC Marks have been filled correctly before proceeding to submit the application form
Step 4: Download the Application Only after Registration, Payment and submission of the online Application)After completion of the application form submitting, the candidate can download the application form with the login credentials (RGUKT Application Number and Date of Birth). Candidates are advised to keep a copy of the application form, for future reference. Candidates are advised not to submit/post the printouts of online application forms at any offices.
