AP RGUKT
The six-year integrated B.Tech programme, which is provided at all of RGUKT AP's IIIT (Indian Institute of Information  Technology) campuses throughout Andhra Pradesh, is considered as the institution's flagship programme. AP India's state of Andhra Pradesh is home to the RGUKT (Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies). The institution was founded to offer top-notch instruction and research in a range of disciplines, including engineering and technology. RGUKT provides an integrated 6-year B.Tech. programme in six engineering specialties, including chemical, civil,  computer science, mechanical, and materials engineering. ICT-based instruction takes place in a completely residential setting with distinct facilities for boys' and girls' hostels. Every student has access to a laptop.
AP RGUKT IIIT Admission 2024
With the AP RGUKT IIIT Admission 2024, students who have finished the tenth grade can enroll in a six-year integrated B.Tech programme. This initiative aims to give Andhra Pradesh's rural and poor pupils access to high-quality education. The curriculum is split into two parts, with the first two years devoted to a foundation course and the latter four years to specialized computer science and engineering courses. The application procedure for the AP IIIT is rigorous and extremely demanding. Only pupils who pass the Class 10 board examinations and satisfy the qualifying requirements are chosen for the programme based on their GPA from their tenth grade.


What is AP IIIT Admission?
The Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies' (RGUKT) Integrated B.Tech programme admissions procedure is called AP IIIT Admission 2024. The six-year integrated programme is available in Andhra Pradesh, India, on four separate campuses. The four campuses are situated in Srikakulam, Ongole, Nuzvid, and Idupulapaya.
B.Tech. integrated AP RGUKT programme
The AP RGUKT Integrated B.Tech programme is a special programme created to give students a top-notch education in engineering and technology. Students with a significant interest in pursuing a career in engineering and technology and who have finished their 10th standard or the equivalent are targeted for the 6-year  B.Tech programme.

The Andhra Pradesh state's Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) will publish the AP RGUKT Admission 2024 announcement on its undergraduate admissions webpage. For admission to the first year of the six-year integrated B.Tech programme at RGUKT's campuses in Andhra Pradesh, Nuzvid, Idupulapaya, Ongole, and Srikakulam, qualified and interested candidates must submit an online application.

The 6-Year Integrated Engineering course is divided in to the following two stages:

Tuition Fee and Mess Charges:
a) The tuition fee for the candidates who studied in Schools situated in Andhra
Pradesh & Telangana states is Rs.45,000/- per annum for PUC program and Rs
50,000/- per annum for B.Tech program.
b) Students who are eligible for tuition fee reimbursement (Vidya Deevena) as per
the guidelines issued by the Andhra Pradesh State Government will be exempted
from tuition fee. (Total family annual income is below Rs.2.5 Lakh and who fulfill
the other conditions as per the latest Govt. rules are eligible for fee
reimbursement). Incase Government deposits the reimbursement of tuition fee to
the student/mother account directly, candidates who get tuition fee
reimbursement need to pay the tuition fee to the University within one week from
the date of receipt of reimbursement. If the sanctioned scholarship amount is less
than the tuition fee, then students need to pay the balance amount to the
University.
c) All other students who are not eligible for tuition fee reimbursement should pay
the full annual tuition fee to the University at the time of beginning of each
academic year.
d) Students should pay monthly mess charges to the University (approximately
Rs.3000 per month). In case of students who receive Vasathi Deevena should also
pay the balance amount in addition to Vasathi Deevena Amount which is
sanctioned.
e) Every student has to pay an admission fee of Rs.1,000/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ST
candidates), Rs.1200/- towards group insurance(to be paid to the insurance
agency by the University) and a refundable caution deposit of Rs.1,000 (by all),
and a hostel maintenance charges of Rs.1000/-(by all) that is a total of Rs.4,200/-
(Rs 3,700/- in case of SC/ST candidates) at the time of admission.
Admission of students for other States (other than AP and Telangana) and
International Students (As per UGC Notice No. F.No.1-2/2023(IC) dated 26-4-2024):
a) Supernumerary seats to the extent of 25% are available to students belonging to
States other than Andhra Pradesh & Telangana including the children of Indians
working in Gulf Countries / International and NRI students. Admission will be on
the basis of merit in the 10th class examination.
b) Tuition fee for students other than AP and Telangana states is Rs.1,50,000/- per
annum.
c) The tuition fee for International / NRI students is Rs.3, 00,000/- per annum.
d) Students should pay monthly mess charges to the University (approximately
Rs.3,000 per month).
Note: University reserves the right to cancel the admission of any student if it is found
wrong now or later that he/she secured admission by giving false information of any kind.

Important Information to be noted by the candidates:

1. First two years of PUC batches of Ongole campus will be accommodated in
prefabs at R.K Valley campus and few Engineering batches of Srikakulam
campus will be accommodated at Nuzvid campus. RGUKT may change these
internal arrangements as per the requirement from time to time.

2. Since RGUKT is completely a residential University, students who are
seeking admission into RGUKT and their parents are advised to note that the
attendance is compulsory and there will not be any provision for
condonation except in a justifiable medical ground.

3. There is an exit option available to the students after two years PUC
program. They can join elsewhere only after all the academic requirements
are satisfied according to RGUKT guidelines. RGUKT follows a
multidisciplinary approach. Therefore, elementary biology is compulsory in
the PUC programme; pass in biology is necessary although grades in biology
are not used either for branch allocation or to arrive at CGPA. Engineering
Branches will be allotted based on the merit in the PUC following rule of
reservation as per AP State Government norms.
4. In no case, internal transfer of candidates between the campuses is
permitted. Students have to study in the campus where they are admitted.

5. Candidates who are not eligible for tuition fee reimbursement (vidya
deevena) should pay the full annual tuition fee to the University at the time
of beginning of each academic year. Candidates who get tuition fee
reimbursement also need to pay the tuition fee to the University within one
week from the date of receipt of reimbursement (vidya deevena) from the
Government. If the sanctioned scholarship amount is less than the tuition
fee, then students need to pay the balance amount to the University.
6. Candidates should pay the actual monthly mess charges to the University
(approximately Rs.3000/- per month). In case of students who receive
Vasathi Deevena should also pay the balance amount in addition to Vasathi
Deevena Amount.
7. Telangana Candidates who are eligible for fee reimbursement as per the
State of Telangana rules and regulations have to pay the balance tuition fee
amount in addition to the scholarship sanctioned by the Telangana State.
8. As a part of skill upgradation, RGUKT has signed an MoU with ISB Hyderabad
and other MNCs for collaboration. All Engineering third year students need
to pay a nominal contribution up to Rs.1000/- per year towards that.

AP RGUKT IIIT Admission Eligibility Criteria
The following requirements must be satisfied by students in order to be admitted to the AP RGUKT IIIT in 2024:
  1. The candidate must have passed the SSC (10th grade) or a test considered to be an equivalent by the Andhra Pradesh government.
  2. The candidate must have attended school in Andhra Pradesh for at least four years in a row, or one of their parents must have attended school there for at least four years in a row.
  3. The candidate's SSC (10th class) or other similar test must have yielded a minimum of 70% of the total possible points, as recognised by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
  4. The applicant should not have turned 18 as of December 31 of the admissions year
IIIT Admission AP Selection Process
IIIT Admission AP will be based on merit in the Grade Point Average (GPA) and Grade earned in each subject in the 10th grade, as well as by adhering to the State's statutory reservations.
When applying to non-residential government schools like the ZP, Municipal, KV, AP Model Schools, and KGBV Schools, a deprivation score of 0.4 will be added to the applicant's GPA from the 10th grade with the goal of giving weight to help the students from socially and economically disadvantaged sections of the society get admitted.

a) In case of a tie in GPA score
In case of a tie in GPA score, it will be resolved by adopting the following options in that sequence:
Higher grade in Mathematics,
Higher grade in General Science, iii. Higher grade in English,
Higher grade in Social Studies,
Higher grade in 1st Language,
The older candidate as per the Date of Birth,
The lowest random number obtained from the hall ticket number.
If the tie is resolved with any of the check-in the chronological order mentioned above, the next option(s) will not be checked
b) The procedure of resolving by random number is as follows:
The procedure of resolving by random number is as follows: For SSC, NIOS & OSSC applicants. The random number will be obtained as the reminder of {253 x [first 5 digits of the hall ticket number] divided by the last 5 digits of the hall ticket number}
For example, from the hall ticket no.1219121028, the first five digits viz., 12191 and the last five digits viz., 21028 will be considered for this purpose. The reminder is 14235. For CBSE & ICSE applicants. The Hall ticket consists seven digits. Hence, the random number will be obtained as the reminder of {253 x [first 3 digits of the hall ticket number] divided by the last 4 digits of the hall ticket number}.
For example, from the hall ticket no.4112605, the first three digits viz., 411 and the last four digits viz., 2605 will be considered for this purpose. The reminder is 2388.
c) Seating Allotted to AP Students
Andhra Pradesh's Ongole and Srikakulam campuses will admit students in accordance with 371; however, only 85% of seats 
are designated for AP students, leaving 15% accessible to students from other states who might choose to be admitted based 
on merit lists.
d) No RGUKT CET for this year 2024
Previous year, RGUKT CET (RGUKT Common Entrance Test) was conducted for this IIIT admission stream. Now this year no  entrance examination will not be conducted for this year. Only students will be selected through merit in 10th class or 10th Class GPA.

How to Submit the AP IIIT Admission Application Form for 2024?
The AP RGUKT IIIT Admission 2024 application procedure is uncomplicated and easy to follow. Candidates can apply for the programme by following the instructions below (AP IIIT Admission Application Form):

  2. The "Admissions" tab will appear on the home page.
  3. Decide the campus you wish to apply to.

Documents needed for admission to IIIT
 Only online submissions should be made through www.rgukt.in for AP applications. The following details need to be prepared to fill out during online submission:
  1. Class 10 hall ticket number
  2. Date of birth Caste certificate for applicants who are SC, ST, or BC
  3. For pupils who claim to be eligible for this type of reservation, an Aadhar Number CAP PH, NCC, sports, etc.
  4. Income verification for scholarship-claiming students
  5. EWS certificate holders claiming this category's reservations
  6. White Ration Card/Rice Card 4th to 10th Class Residence Certificate for Those Claiming Local Category Study Certificate
Instructions to Candidate:
The Convener, RGUKT reserves the right to reject the application of the candidate at any stage, if:
  1. The Online Application Form is incomplete.
  2. The candidate fails to satisfy the eligibility criteria.
  3. Any false or incorrect information is furnished.
  4. The Online Application Form is submitted after the due date.
  5. The Convener is not responsible for non-receipt of application by the notified date and time for any reason.
  6. The Convener, RGUKT is not responsible for any false information submitted by the candidate
IIIT AP Admission Reservation
IIIT AP Admission to 85% of total available seats shall be reserved to the concerned local University, where the Institute is located and the remaining 15% of the seats shall be un-reserved and are open to all applicants of both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, as specified in the Presidential Order 371 Article D in consonance to Section 95 of the A.P. Reorganization Act, 2014. (See Annexure-1).

The rules of reservation for different categories are as under in both local and unreserved categories, subject to any changes and amendments made by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

SC – 15%, ST – 6%, BC-A – 7%, BC-B – 10%, BC-C – 1%, BC-D – 7%, BC-E – 4%
Physically Handicapped (PH) – 3%, Children of Armed Personnel (CAP) – 2%, NCC -1% and Sports – 0.5%.
A horizontal reservation of 33 1/3 % of seats in favor of women candidates in each category (OC/SC/ST/BC/Special Categories) shall be ensured, wherever women candidates are available.
In case of PH candidates, certificates issued by the State Medical Board alone are acceptable.
For Sports and CAP categories, certificates issued by the respective District Boards are acceptable. These reservations are applicable at state-level.

Steps for submitting Online Application
Step 1: Registration
The candidate wishing to apply for admission in RGUKT, should register with the above link. On registration process, unique RGUKT Application Number will be generated for each candidate. After successful registration, the candidate proceeds to complete the Online Admission fee payment with the RGUKT Application Number Only.
Step 2: Admission Fee Payment

After Completion of the registration the Candidate complete the Admission fee payment by feeding the RGUKT Application number. The candidate can complete the application fee payment with any online payment gateway or in cash at AP online centers for which the center will issue a receipt. Application fee is Rs. 300/-.It is Rs.200/-for SC and ST candidates.
Step 3: Submit the Online Application Form

After payment of admission fee, the candidate can complete application form with the login credentials (RGUKT Application Number and Date of Birth).
