The Government of Telangana State is going to conduct Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test and release a Notification in concerned to TS TET Notification 2023. It is a chance for getting eligibility to apply for TS DSC. Department of School Education DSC is going to announce TSTET Notification 2023 for Telangana State Eligibility Test. The State Government of Telangana has updated the TSTET application form 2023  at its Official Website . So, that applicants can apply quickly. All the aspirants can apply online for this test only through Online mode only at www.tstet.cgg.gov.in. All the applicants must remember that they have to submit their Telangana TET Online application 2023 form till the day given in the Notification. Aspirants who want to apply for Telangana TET 2023 , have to check its Eligibility Criteria which are given below. Online applications are invited from eligible candidates who intend to be the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TS-TET-2023) to be conducted by the Department of School Education, Government of Telangana State on 15.09.2023 in all 33 Districts of the State.
In accordance with the provisions of Sub – Section (1) of Section 23 of the Right to Education Act (RTE), 2009, the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) had vide its Notification dated 23rd August, 2010 laid down the minimum qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII. It had been inter alia provided that one of the essential qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in any of the schools referred to in clause (n) of section 2 of the RTE Act is that she / he should pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) which will be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE. Accordingly, Government of Telangana State has issued guidelines for conducting Teacher Eligibility Test inTelangana State vide G.Os cited in the reference above.

All candidates who possess D.El.Ed./D.Ed./ B.Ed. / Language Pandit or equivalent qualifications and candidates pursuing final year of the said courses with requisite percentage of marks obtained as given in the Information Bulletin of TS-TET-2023 and who aspire to become teachers for classes I to VIII in the schools of the State Government, Mandal Parishad, Zilla Parishad Schools, Private Aided Schools and Private unaided schools in Telangana State can appear for TS-TET-2023. However, the candidates intending to seek employment as a teacher in private unaided schools shall have the option of appearing at CTET conducted by Central Government through CBSE, instead of TS-TET-2023, if they so desire. The candidates who did not qualify in the TETs conducted earlier can also apply for the TS-TET-2023. Further, the candidates who got qualified in the earlier TETs can also apply for TS-TET-2023, if they desire improvement over their previous TET score.
TS-TET-2023 will be conducted in 2 papers viz. Paper-I & Paper-II. The candidates who intend to be teachers for classes I to V have to appear for Paper-I and the candidates who intend to be teachers for classes VI to VIII have to appear for Paper-II. The candidates who intend to be teachers for all classes from I to VIII can appear for both papers, Paper-I and Paper-II.


Date and Timings of TS-TET-2023 :

  1. TS-TET-2023 will be conducted on 15.09.2023 in all the 33 Districts of the State. The duration and timings of the test are given below:
  2. Paper-I: 9.30 am to 12.00 noon (duration 2 ½ hours)
  3. Paper-II: 2.30 pm to 5.00 pm (duration 2 ½ hours)

Online Payment of Exam fee:

  1. The exam fee prescribed for appearing for a Single Paper (i.e. only Paper I or only Paper II), or, for Both Papers (i.e. Paper I and Paper II) is Rs.300/- (Rupees Three hundred only). 
  2. Candidates can pay the exam fee through Online payment option provided in the TS-TET website https://tstet.cgg.gov.in between 02.08.2023 to 16.08.2023.

Procedure for submission of application online:

  1. Detailed procedure for applying ONLINE is given in the Information Bulletin. Candidates can download the ‘Information Bulletin’ free of cost from the TSTET website: https://tstet.cgg.gov.in from 02.08.2023 onwards. 
  2. Candidates can submit their applications online from 02.08.2023 to 16.08.2023 through website: https://tstet.cgg.gov.in. schools shall have the option of appearing at CTET conducted by Central Government through CBSE, instead of TS-TET-2023, if they so desire.

Eligibility Criteria:

The candidates at the time of applying for TS-TET should be in possession of thevfollowing minimum qualifications prescribed for category of I to V classes (Paper- I) and VI to VIII classes (Paper - II) separately.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR TS-TET PAPER-I (CLASSES I TO V):

(i) Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with atleast 50% marks. However in case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. AND pass in 2 - year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) / 2 - year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
OR
(ii) Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with atleast 45% marks. In respect of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 40%. AND pass in 2 - year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) / 2 - year Diploma in Education (Special Education) in case of the candidates who have passed or admitted to D.El.Ed / D.Ed., course prior to issue of these guidelines ( 23-12-2015).
OR
(iii)Graduation with atleast 50% marks, however in case of SC / ST / BC / Differently Abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45% AND pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) / Bachelor of Education (Special Education) MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR TS-TET PAPER - II (CLASSES VI TO VIII):
(i) B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., with atleast 50% marks. In case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. AND pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course / Bachelor of Education (B.Ed -Special Education).
OR
(ii) B.A./B.Sc./B.Com., with atleast 50% marks. In respect of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be40%. AND pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course / Bachelor of Education (B.Ed -Special Education) in case of the candidates who have passed or admitted to B.Ed., course prior to issue of theseguidelines (23-12-2015).
OR
(iii) 4-year B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed., with atleast 50% marks, in case of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%.
OR
(iv) Graduation with language concerned as one of the optional subjects OR Bachelor of oriental language (or its equivalent) OR Graduation in literature OR Post Graduation in language concerned AND Language Pandit Training Certificate/B.Ed with language concerned as one of the Methodologies, in respect of Language Teachers.
OR
(v) B.E/B.Tech with atleast 50% marks and Passed / Pursuing Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or B.Ed. (Special Education). In respect of SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%. 

Structure, Content and Syllabus of TS-TET

a) The structure and content of each part of Paper-I and Paper-II of the TS-TET, and the breakup of the total 150 marks among various parts of the paper are given in the Information Bulletin.
b) Syllabus for TS-TET can be downloaded from https://tstet.cgg.gov.in TS-TET-2022 shall be conducted in all the 33 Districts of the State. Candidates can choose any Examination Centre (District) of their choice. However, when the capacity of any particular Examination Centre (District) gets
exhausted, that particular Examination Centre (District) will not be displayed in the list of examination centres given in the Online application form. In such case, the candidates have to choose the Examination Centre (District) of their choice from the remaining list available.

Pass Criteria in TET:

The criteria for considering pass in TS-TET are as follows:

Examination Centers for TS-TET-2023:

QUALIFYING MARKS IN TSTET, ISSUE OF MEMOs/CERTIFICATES

i) General 60% and above

ii) BC 50% and above

iii) SC/ST/ Differently abled (PH)** 40% and above

Validity period of TET Certificate / Marks Memo:

The validity period of TET qualifying certificates for appointment, unless

otherwise notified by the Government of Telangana, would remain valid for life.

Weightage for TS-TET Scores in selection in Teacher Recruitment

Test.

As per G.O.Ms.No.36,School Education (Trg.) Dept., dt 23.12.2015 cited under

ref.1 , 20% weightage is given to TET score in Teacher Recruitment Test in

the State of Telangana. 

. Storage of examination material:

The examination related material will be preserved for six months from the

date of examination and no application in this regard will be entertained

beyond this period.

Exemption from passing TS-TET:

Teachers who were appointed before NCTE notification, dated

23.08.2010 on selection by District Selection Committee or by the

competent authority in Govt. / Local Authority as per Recruitment rules

prevalent at that time are exempted from appearing for the TET Exam.

However, teachers working in private schools whose appointments were not

approved by the competent authority in Government are not exempted from

passing TET. Such teachers of private unaided schools can also appear for

TET conducted by either State Government or Central Government. Teachers

working in private aided schools whose appointment is not approved by the

competent authority should invariably pass TS-TET only.

SCHEDULE OF EXAMINATION

The Schedule of TS-TET- 2022 is given below:

STRUCTURE AND CONTENT OF TS-TET:

The structure and content of the TS-TET is given in the following paragraphs. All

questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark, with

four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct. There will be no negative

marking.

There will be two papers of the TS-TET, Paper-I will be for a person who

intends to be a teacher for Classes I to V, Paper-II will be for a person who

intends to be a teacher for Classes VI to VIII. A person who intends to be a

teacher either for classes I to V or for classes VI to VIII shall have to appear for

both papers (Paper I and Paper II).

MODE OF SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION

A candidate can apply for the TS-TET-2022 Online by logging to TS-TET official

website https://tstet.cgg.gov.in only. Before applying online, candidates shall

ensure to have Scanned image of latest photograph and signature in Jpeg format only

for uploading. Please keep with you a copy of X Class Certificate for making correct

entry of Date of Birth in the application. Also decide the mode of payment of fee. The

candidates are not required to send hard copy of confirmation page to TS-TET Cell.

However, the candidates are advised to retain the hard copy of the application i.e.

confirmation page.

HALL TICKET

Candidates can download their Hall Tickets from the website at

https://tstet.cgg.gov.in from 06.06.2022. In case any candidate could not

download the Hall ticket she/he should contact the Director, SCERT & Ex- officio

Director, SCERT, Hyderabad between 10.30 AM and 5.00 PM on all working days

between 07.06.2022 to 11.06.2022 in person only giving details of the journal number

of the fee paid, candidate ID of the application submitted, a copy of the printout of

the Application form and one photograph (same photograph as pasted on the

application form). Request for issue of duplicate Hall Ticket will not be entertained

after the examination in any case.

. EXAM FEE:

The exam fee prescribed for appearing for a Single Paper (i.e., only Paper I or only

Paper II), or, for Both Papers (i.e., Paper I and Paper II) is Rs.300/- (Rupees Three

What is the Eligibility Criteria for Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test

As we know that TS TET is also known as Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test which conducts for the purpose of recruitment of career oriented and passionate candidates for teaching post. Government of Telangana has created route map to release TET Notification of the year 2022 TS TET Part I is conducted for teachers Jobs of classes I to VIII in schools in Telangana State and Part II for teachers of classes VI to VIII.

So, those candidates are going to appear in TS TET Part I exam:

Telangana TET Qualification Teachers of Classes I-V (Paper I) 2022: Those applicants has applied for Paper I, should have completed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45 percent marks. They are also eligible to appear in this exam, who are appearing in inal 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) / 2 – year Diploma in Education in Special Education. Those have completed their BA / B.Sc. with at least 50 percent marks and B.Ed qualification can also apply easily.

Telangana TET Qualification Teachers of Classes VI-VIII (Paper II) 2022: 

Those are appearing in Paper II, must have possessed B.A. / B.Sc and those appearing in final 2 year D.Ed. / B.A. /B.Sc. with at least 45 percent marks and passed / appearing in B.Ed / Senior Secondary with at least 50 percent marks and passed or appearing in final 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) / 4-year BA/ B.Sc.Ed. or B.A. (Ed.)/B.Sc. (Ed.) / B.Ed. (Special Education) with 50 percent in BA or B.Sc, are eligible to apply.

TS TET 2022 Exam Pattern and Syllabus:

The aspirants who are looking forth for TS TET Exam Pattern and Syllabus , we have given detailed syllabus and exam pattern for your guidence. The exam will be objective type. Each Paer will consist of 150 MCQs multiple choice questions and each question carries 1 mark totalling for 150 marks.

The aspirants have to write:

Paper 1:           To become teachers for classes I-V in Telangana primary school.
