స్టేట్ బోర్డ్ ఆఫ్ టెక్నికల్ ఎడ్యుకేషన్ అండ్ ట్రెయినింగ్ పాలిసెట్‌ను నిర్వహిస్తుంది. దీంతో రాష్ట్రంలోని పాలిటెక్నిక్/ఇన్‌స్టిట్యూషన్స్ ప్రభుత్వ, ప్రైవేట్, ఎయిడెడ్, అన్ ఎయిడెడ్, ప్రైవేట్ ఇంజినీరింగ్ కాలేజీల్లో రెండో షిఫ్ట్ పాలిటెక్నిక్‌లో ప్రవేశాలు కల్పిస్తారు.
అర్హతలు:
బోర్డ్ ఆఫ్ సెకండరీ ఎడ్యుకేషన్ ఆంధ్ర ప్రదేశ్ గుర్తించిన పదోతరగతి లేదా తత్సమాన కోర్సులో ఉత్తీర్ణత.
పదోతరగతి కంపార్ట్‌మెంట్‌లో పాసైనవారు,పరీక్షలు రాస్తున్న వారు కూడా దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవచ్చు. కానీ ప్రవేశం తీసుకొనే సమయానికి అన్ని సబ్జెక్టుల్లో ఉత్తీర్ణులై ఉండాలి.

AP Polycet 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for AP Polycet 2023 are mentioned below. Every candidate must make sure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. The eligibility criteria to appear for the AP Polycet 2023 are as follows.- Applicant must be an Indian National
- Applicant should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh.
Candidate should have passed SSC examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P./TS such as CBSE, ICSE, NIOS, APOSS with mathematics as one of the subjects and must have obtained at least 35% marks in the qualifying examination.
The candidates who have studied from APOSS/NIOS shall cover Mathematics, Science and Social/ Computers and should have passed in all the subjects with a minimum of 35% in each subject.
The candidates who have appeared or will appear for the SSC or equivalent examination and their results are yet to be declared are also eligible to apply for AP Polycet 2018 examination

- Firstly candidate have to fill the Application Form through Online Mode.
- The Application Form has to be submitted only though online mode.
- The Application Form will be available online from 16th February 2023 at the official website polycetap.nic.in
- The Last date to fill up the application form is 30-04-2023
- Finally fill all the details as per the guidelines given in the prospectus.
Application Fee
- For OC / BC Candidates appearing for POLYCET 2023 : Rs. 400/-
- For SC / ST Candidates appearing for POLYCET 2023 : Rs. 100/
- Candidates can make the payment of the Application Fee through Online mode , payment gateway, net banking.
Procedure for filling of POLYCET Online Application :
Fill in the Application form as per the guidelines:
First fill the 10th Class Hall ticket No., Year of pass and Date of Birth.
Fill your name as per school records with one letter for each box. Leave a gap between parts of your name.
Fill your father’s name
Fill your date of birth in DD MM YYYY [Date / Month / Year] format.
Fill in your address details (House Number, Village / Street, Mandal /
Town / City, District, PIN code, mobile number for correspondence.
Fill in the place where you would like to appear for Examination. Refer the table Examination / help line centers.
Enter the area code to which you are local to Andhra Pradesh
Enter your reservation category (BC/SC/ST)
Enter your special category, if any(CAP/SP/PH/NCC).
Fill in minority community details (Other than Hindu) as entered in your school records.
Fill in your willingness to appear the examination in Urdu medium.
Examination in Urdu medium will be conducted only at Guntur and Nandyal centers.
The filled in application form should be submitted with a payment of
Rs. 400/- (OC / BC Candidates) Rs.100/- (SC / ST Candidates)
The AP Polycet 2023 Exam Pattern is given below. The Exam Pattern remains the same for every year.
- Mode: Offline (Pen Paper) mode
- Number of Questions: There will be 120 questions in the exam.
- Types of Questions: The Question will be of Multiple Choice Type Questions.
- Subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- Exam Duration: 2 Hours
- Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking.
- Physics : 30
- Chemistry : 30
- Mathematics : 60
- Total : 120
The question papers are on the basis of SSC/ 10 class syllabus of Andhra Pradesh Board. So candidates can study their SSC syllabus to score good marks in the examination containing Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
AP Polycet 2023 Admit Card
The Admit Card for AP Polycet 2023 can be downloaded online from the official website. The candidates have to bring the printed copy of the admit card at the examination centre. The Admit Card for AP Polycet 2020 will consist of the basic information about the exam such as date, time and venue. After downloading the admit card, candidate must ensure that the personal details printed on the admit card are correct or not.
AP Polycet 2023 Result
AP Polycet 2023 result will be announced in the 25-05-2023. The Result will be announced through online mode on its official website. Also the separate merit list will be prepared.
AP Polycet Answer Key
AP Polycet generates answer key after the successful conduct of the examination. Through the answer key, candidates can evaluate their expected scores on the entrance examination. The Answer Key will be published after one/two week before the exam.
AP Polycet 2023 Admission
After the announcement of the AP Polycet exam result, the information related to the counselling will be published in the leading newspapers/ websites. AP Polycet 2020 Counselling process will begin from the month of June/July. At the time of counselling, students have to make the choices for college and course in which they want to get admission.
