TS LPCET 2018 Notification:

TS LPCET 2018 Telangana State Language Pandit Common Entrance Test (TS LPCET) is a common entrance exam conducted by School Education Department, Telangana Government for admissions in government IASE/CTE’s and private language training colleges for one year Language Pandit Training courses (TPT/HPT/UPT) in all 31 districts of the state.

TS LPCET 2018 Eligibility Criteria:

1) Candidate should be of Indian Nationality.
2) Candidate should satisfy the status of local and non-local as per the requirement laid down in TS Educational Institutions Order 1974 Regulation of Admission.
3) Candidates should complete 19 years of age. No upper age limit.
4) Candidate should hold a degree with Telugu or Hindi or Urdu Languages as subject

For detailed TS LPCET 2018 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications:

For Telugu Pandit:

BA (Telugu Literature) or BA (Oriental Language – Telugu) or Bachelor of Oriental

Language Telugu or A Graduate degree with optional subject Telugu or MA (Telugu)

For Hindi Pandit:

A graduate degree with optional subject Hindi or Bachelor of Oriental Language Hindi or Praveen of Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha or Vidwan of Hindi Prachara Sabha, Hyderabad or any other equivalent recognized qualification in Hindi (BA Standard) by the Government of Telangana or MA (Hindi).

For Urdu Pandit:

BA (Urdu Literature) or BA (Oriental Language – Urdu) or Bachelor of Oriental Language Urdu or Graduate degree with optional subject Urdu of MA (Urdu).

5) The candidates who have passed the above examination as on the date of submission of application are eligible to appear.

6) The candidates who have appeared for final qualifying examinations or its equivalent during this academic year are also eligible

7) For general category candidates qualifying marks shall be 35% of aggregate marks. In case of SC/ST candidates, there shall be no minimum marks.

Reservations:

1) 85% of seats will be reserved for local candidates.
2) 15% of seats will be unreserved seats.
3) The reservation seats for SC/ST/BC/PCP/NCC/SCOUTS & GUIDES/DEFENCE PERSONNEL will be as prescribed by government.
4) Reservations of seats for the Defence Personnel, their children, spouses: For Ex- service en, Defence Personnel, Border Security Force and Central Reserve Police Force residing in Telangana and/or their children/spouses, as per rules.
5) Reservations of seats for NCC/Scouts and Guides/Sports and Games/Physically challenged persons/Defence personnel.
TS LPCET 2018 Application Form:

Application Fee: Rs 200 /-

Fee can be paid through the payment gateway (online).

TS LPCET 2018 Applications will be received through online only. TS LPCET 2018 Application form will be available from May 2018 tentatively.

How to Apply Online:

1) Visit the official website and pay the application fee through payment gateway.
2) Click on “Application Form” and enter the details of fee payment.
3) Proceed to Application form and fill the personal and academic details.
4) Upload the photograph and signature.
5) Submit the application and take a printout for future reference.



TS LPCET 2018 Exam Pattern:                                    

1) Mode: Computer based test
2)  Type: Completely objective type i.e. multiple choice questions
3) Duration: 2 Hours
4) Subjects: Current Affairs, Numerical Ability, Language, Literature.
5) Question Paper will be comprised of a total of 100 questions.
6) Total Marks: 100 marks
7) Each question carries 1 mark.

TS LPCET 2018 Syllabus:

TS LPCET 2018 syllabus will be comprised of subjects

a) Numerical Ability

b) Language

c) Literature

d) Current Affairs

Numerical Ability:

Four fundamental operations (Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication & Division) and Averages.

Language:

Telugu Pandit: 1st Language of 8th to 10th classes of TS State Syllabus
Hindi Pandit: 2nd Language of 8th to 10th classes of TS State Syllabus
Urdu Pandit: 1st Language of 8th to 10th classes of TS State Syllabus
Literature: Graduate Degree Standard

TS LPCET 2018 Hall Tickets:

Candidate can download the hall tickets from the official website of TS LPCET 2018. Hall tickets will be issued from June 2018 tentatively. Hall tickets will contain information regarding candidate and test date, time and venue.
TS LPCET 2018 Qualifying Marks:

Qualifying marks in the entrance test for 35% of the aggregate marks for general category candidates. There shall be no minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST category candidates.

TS LPCET 2018 Results & Rank Card:

Candidate can get the TS LPCET 2018 results from the official website of TS LPCET 2018. Results will be announced on July 2018 tentatively. Rank card will be made available in the official website on the day of result announcement.

TS LPCET 2018 Counselling

The counselling procedure for TS LPCET 2018 starts from July 2018 tentatively. A prescribed fee must be paid for web options. Counselling procedure will consist of submission of web options by candidates, allotment of seats to candidates, issue of provisional letters for admission, verification of certificates at DIETs and issue of final submission letter.

TS LPCET 2018 General Instructions:

1) TS LPCET 2018 application forms will be received only through online.
2) In case of any clarifications before, during or after submission of application online the candidates may contact the Help Desk at Telephone Numbers
3) Fee once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
4) No corrections will be entertained after submission of online application.
5) Furnishing of false, wrong or inaccurate information leads to cancellation of the test result and even prosecution in appropriate cases.
6) No request for re-checking, re-assessment, re-evaluation or scrutiny of answer-sheets will be entertained.
7) All disputes pertaining to the conduct of LPCET shall be subject to jurisdiction of Telangana High Court only.
8) TS LPCET 2018 is conducted as online exam i.e. Computer based test.
9) Guidelines for appearing online exam of TS LPCET 2018 will be kept in website in due course for awareness of candidates.
10) No materials, books, electronic gadgets will be allowed inside examination hall.
11) No candidate will be allowed inside exam hall without Hall Ticket.
12) After the commencement of exam, no candidate will be allowed in exam centre.
13)  If the no. of candidates is less than 200 in a particular district the centre may be merged in neighbouring district.
