CTET JULY 2024 Notification
The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the 19th edition of Central TeacherEligibility Test (CTET) on 07-07-2024 (Sunday). The test will be conducted in twenty languages in136 cities all over the country. The detailed information Bulletin containing details of examination,syllabus languages, eligibility criteria, examination fee, examination cities and important dates will beavailable on CTET official website https://ctet.nic.in/ shortly and aspiring candidates are requested todownload in information Bulletin from above mentioned website only and read the same carefullybefore applying. The aspiring candidates have to apply online only through CTET websitehttps://ctet.nic.in/. The online application process will start from 07/03/2024. The last date forsubmitting online application is 02/04/2024 (11:59 PM

SCHEDULE AND MODE OF EXAMINATION
THE SCHEDULE OF CTET- July, 2024 IS GIVEN BELOW:


The rationale for including the TET as a minimum qualification for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher is as under:
  1. It would bring national standards and benchmark of teacher quality in the recruitment process;
  2. It would induce teacher education institutions and students from these institutions to further improve their performance standards;
  3. It would send a positive signal to all stakeholders that the Government lays special emphasis on teacher quality
What is the Education Qualification for CTET?
For Class I-V (any)
Must have completed class 12th with at least 50% marks or should have cleared or appeared in final year diploma of elementary education.
OR
Must have at least 50% in 12th or cleared or appearing in final year of diploma in elementary education as per the NCTE Regulations 2003.
OR
At least 50% in 12th + appearing or appeared for 4 year graduate degree
OR
At least 50% in 12th + cleared or appearing in final year exam of diploma of education (2 years).
OR
Bachelor’s Degree + cleared/appearing in final year of elementary education
For class VI- VIII (any)
Graduation degree + passed or appearing in final year exam of (2 year) diploma elementary education
OR
Graduation degree with 50% at least + passed or appearing in the final year of bachelor’s of education
OR
Graduation with 40% + cleared or appearing in final exam of bachelor’s of education according to NCTE education
OR
12th class with 50% + cleared or appearing in final year exam of A.Ed/B.sc.Ed/B.A.Ed
OR
Graduation degree with 50% + cleared or appearing in 1 year B.ed program
The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to the Central Board of Secondary Education Delhi.   
  1. Candidates are advised to refer only authentic Text Books and syllabus suggested by NCTE for preparation in area of education

The Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted in two Levels
Paper 1: Primary Level (Class 1 to 5) for the primary teacher (PRT)
Paper 2: Upper Primary Level (Class 5 to 8)
How to Apply Online for CTET 2024 Notification
  1. Open the official  site of CTET @ http://ctet.nic.in
  2. See the Recruitment Option
  3. Download that notification
  4. Clearly, refer all the details in it
  5. Submit the form
  6. Take the hard copy of the Submitted application.
The candidate applying for CTET is required:-
i) To go through the Information Bulletin carefully with the entire requirement therein.
ii) To satisfy eligibility to appear in the examination.
iii) To submit On-line application by giving full particulars by accessing the CTET official websitehttps://ctet.nic.in.
iv) To write complete mailing address with Postal PIN Code at the time of applying. v) Before submission of application form, decide the mode of payment of fee. vi) To keep the Confirmation Page for future reference. vii) If a candidate submits more than one on-line application, his/her candidature shall beliable to be cancelled and the candidate may also be debarred for future  examination(s). Nocommunication will be sent in this regard
Method of Submission of Online Application Form:
STEP 1: Log on to CTET official website https://ctet.nic.in. 
STEP 2: Go tothelink“Apply Online” and open the same. STEP 2: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down Registration Number/ ApplicationNumber. 
(a) Authentication Form: Fill details like State, Identification type (select any Identityasapplicable),Candidate’s Name, Date of Birth, Gender and Security Pin.
 (b) Fill Online Application Form: Fill complete online Application Form and choose password. After submission, a Registration Number/Application Number gets generated. Notedownthe Registration No./ Application No. For subsequent login, system generated RegistrationNo. / Application No. and chosen Password will be used.
*Candidate is advised not to disclose or share the password with anybody. Neither CTETnor NIC will be responsible for violation or misuse of the password of a candidate. 
*Candidate should log out at the end of their session so that the contents of the application cannot be tampered by unauthorized persons.
 STEP 3: Upload Scanned Images of latest Photograph and Signature
i) Uploading of scanned Photo and Signature are mandatory.
ii) Upload scanned photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG format.
iii) Size of scanned photograph should be between 10 to 100 KB
iv) Image Dimension of photograph should be 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height).
 v) Size of scanned signature should be between 3 to 30 KB. 
vi) Image Dimension of signature should be 3.5 cm (length) x 1.5 cm (height). The candidates are advised to keep the scanned images of latest photograph and signatureof thecandidates ready in JPG/JPEG format and as per the size and dimension specified, beforeapplyingonline. 
The scanned image of latest photograph is required to upload to avoid the inconvenience at centre, asthisphotograph will be matched with the actual candidate appearing in the examination.
What is CTET 2024 Online Application Process 
Eligible and Interested Candidates Go through the Official Website of APTET then Apply Online Before Final Date.
What is CTET Syllabus 2024
CTET 2021 exam paper will be a multiple choice question paper. The duration exam will be two and a half hours and each question will comprise of 1 mark each and there will be no negative marking against the wrong answer. Two papers will be conducted first in the morning session for class I-V and then in the evening session for class VI-VIII. The questions will be based on topics like Child development and pedagogy Mathematics and Environmental studies, Social studies and social sciences.
Online Uploading of Scanned Images:

CTET 2023: Marks and validity
Minimum 60% marks are required to qualify the TET and the TET qualifying certificate is valid for seven years for appointment in schools. There is no restriction for appearing for the CTET exams, you can take the CTET Exam for improving your scores every year.
