Posting: Solar Power & Systems (SPS) of Components SBU
Upper age limit: 26 years as on 01.05.2016
Qualification: BE/B.Tech in any recognized university or AICTE approved institution  with First class for GEN/OBC and Pass class for SC/ST/PWD candidates.

Experience: Preference will be given to those who have One Year post qualification experience (as on 01.05.2016) in any of the following areas.

EXPERIENCE & RESPONSIBILITIES:


1.  Electronics & Communication (E&C) Engineers – 4 Nos

·         Knowledge of Solar Cell/Module raw materials
·         Hands on Solar Cell/Module / Semiconductor manufacturing processes.
·         Operation & Maintenance of solar cell/Module/Semiconductor production equipments.
·         Operation & Maintenance of solar cell/Module test & measuring equipments/instruments.
·         Quality Assurance of raw materials/processes/finished goods for solar cell/Module manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

·         Scheduling of production to achieve physical targets in Cell/Module area
·         Achieving targeted Efficiency and Productivity in Cell/Module area
·         Cell/Module manufacturing process improvements
·         Preventive and Breakdown maintenance of equipments/Instruments
·         Qualification/Evaluation of new suppliers/vendors/equipments
·         Operation of Production and Test equipments
·         Preparation of new programs/recipes to achieve optimum results
·         Complete documentation of production activities
·         Implementation of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
·         QA of raw materials/processes/finished goods
·         IEC and other approvals for modules
·         Technical support to Internal & External customers
·         Managing/Handling of raw materials/consumables including chemicals & Gases.
·         SAP operations/accounting of materials etc.


2.  Electrical Engineers – 4 Nos

·         Designing of Solar PV Power Plants.
·         Installation and Commissioning of Solar PV Power plants.
·         Knowledge of Solar PV Power plant Components/Sub-systems/Firmware.
·         Operation & Maintenance of Solar PV Power Plants.
·         Experience in High Voltage Engineering/Power Evacuation at 33/66/132 KV
·         Knowledge of Solar Module raw materials
·         Hands on Solar Module / Semiconductor manufacturing processes.
·         Operation & Maintenance of solar module production equipments.
·         Operation & Maintenance of solar module test & measuring equipments/instruments.

Responsibilities:

·         Design of Solar Power Plant.
·         Installation & Commissioning of Solar Power Plant.
·         Coordination with vendors for I & C works of solar power plants.
·         Operation & Maintenance follow up of solar power plants.
·         Coordination and follow up with customer for certification and pending payment.
·         Carrying out Site survey & Preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs).
·         Support for Inspection of components at vendor’s site.
·         Scheduling of production to achieve physical targets in Module areas
·         Achieving targeted Efficiency and Productivity in Module areas
·         Solar Module manufacturing process improvements
·         Preventive and Breakdown maintenance of equipments/Instruments
·         Qualification/Evaluation of new suppliers/vendors/equipments
·         Operation of Production and Test equipments
·         Preparation of new programs/recipes to achieve optimum results
·         Complete documentation of production activities
·         Implementation of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
·         Technical support to Internal & External customers
·         SAP operations/accounting of materials etc.

3.  Mechanical Engineers – 2 Nos

·         Knowledge of Solar Cell/Module raw materials
·         Knowledge of vendors / suppliers / EPC contractors / O&M service providers
·         Hands on Solar Module manufacturing processes.
·         Operation & Maintenance of solar Module/Semiconductor production equipments.
·         Operation & Maintenance of solar Module test & measuring equipments/instruments.

Responsibilities:

·         Establishing vendor base for raw materials suppliers / EPC contractors / Other service providers
·         Qualification & Development of new suppliers/vendors/service providers
·         SAP operations/accounting of materials etc.
·         Material planning and Inventory management
·         Scheduling of production to achieve physical targets in Module areas
·         Achieving targeted Efficiency and Productivity in Module areas
·         Module manufacturing process improvements
·         Preventive and Breakdown maintenance of equipments/Instruments
·         Operation of Production and Test equipments
·         Preparation of new programs/recipes to achieve optimum results
·         Complete documentation of production activities
·         Implementation of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
·         Technical support to Internal & External customers


OTHER CRITERIA (For all Engineers):

·         Shall be able work in 3 rotational shifts
·         Good Oral & written communication skills
·         Good presentation skills
·         Good knowledge of Microsoft Office/Basic IT/Equivalent
·         Required to travel at short notice

PAY & BENEFITS:

In addition to Basic pay, other allowances like dearness allowance, HRA and also eligible for perks of 48% on Annual Basic Pay. Reimbursement of medical expenses, Performance Related Pay, Group insurance as per Company rules, PF, gratuity etc., will be part of the remuneration package.

MODE OF SELECTION:

The applications will be scrutinized and applicants meeting the above criteria will be called to appear for the written test or interview depends on the number of applications received.
Date of the written test will be intimated by e-mail in due course. Call letters will be sent to the candidates short listed in the written test for interview by e-mail.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

Reservation / relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD will be as per Government directives. Applications of GEN/OBC candidates should be accompanied by a crossed Demand Draft drawn on any scheduled bank (preferably SBI) for Rs.500/- (SC/ST/PWD applicants are exempted) in favour of Bharat Electronics Limited, Bangalore. The applicant is required to write his/her name at the right bottom corner on the reverse of Demand Draft.

If there are more eligible applicants, the number of candidates to be called will be restricted in proportion to the requirement based on relevant experience, academic excellence, age etc.


Candidate employed in PSUs / Govt. Organizations should submit the application through proper channel or produce No Objection Certificate at the time of the interview.

Candidates are required to possess at least one valid e-mail id which is to be entered in the application form. Candidates shortlisted for the written test/interview will be informed through e-mail regarding the date, time and venue for the written test and interview to the id that is furnished in the application. BEL will not be responsible for bouncing of any e-mail sent to the candidate.

BEL reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of vacancies to be filled on actual requirement at the time of selection and to cancel the advertisement and/or the entire selection process at any stage. Deserving  candidates may be extended relaxation in age / experience based on merit at the discretion of the Management.

Shortlisted candidates for interview will be reimbursed 2nd class to and from train fare by the shortest route (from their correspondence address) to the written test/interview venue, subject to production of railway ticket / receipts as per Company rules.
